You limp over to the bed, bending down to pull the covers back.

This is why I kept her away from everyone, so this wouldn't happen. But of course the moment she's out of my sight this happens. It pains me to see her like this, she's wincing constantly, she's quieter, she's flinching constantly. Hux will get what he deserves, but before he does I want to try something.
I unclip my helmet and place it down, I walk to her slowly while she fixes the bed covers. She has flinched a lot from me raising a hand, what if I tried kissing her?
She turns slightly. I breathe in quickly and lean down , kissing her.
She jumps and lands on the bed.
My heart drops, I can't even kiss her. He will pay.
She crawls away from me, I lean down and lift a hand so she can hold my hand but she flinches again.
That's it, I've had enough.
I turn around , bent down to get my helmet and walk out the door.
