"Damn it!"

It was already past 12 midnight and here I am stuck in the middle of the road. I slammed my fist into the steering wheel. I fished my phone to call for help and I in a second he immediately answered. I wonder why he's still awake.

[In trouble again?] I heard him scoffed from the other line.

"Kind of. Can you pick me up? Tumirik na naman 'yung kotse, eh." I chuckled as I went out the car to breathe some air. I can hear him laugh on the other line.

[Ayaw pa kasing bumili ng bago. Ang yaman yaman mo, eh.] I rolled my eyes on him and send him my location.

I don't want to accept it because I felt bad and hate him that time.

5 years had past and we're in good terms now. I wish Porch will offer me a car again.

I decided to start walking and find a convenient store nearby. I hope there's one because there' s a lot of small buildings here. I needed a place for me to wait since it's not safe to stay in the car and the battery is dead.

I arrived in a local convinient store and get some food to eat since I'm a bit hungry. I haven't eaten since I left Gab's place a while ago. He doesn't like me calling him Ander anymore so I'm forced to call him Gab now. Ang arte.

I also get two bottles of beer in case my friend wants to have some.

"Shit." I cursed under my breath. I left my wallet inside the car.

"I think I left my wallet. I'll just return this ha." I smiled at her shyly at mukhang naintindihan niya naman.

"I'll pay for it. And this also." I was hesitant to look back but I felt a chill when he handed a one thousand peso bill and a charger to the girl. I absent-mindedly looked up to him and there my gut told me I was right who this guy is.

I haven't seen him in years and here I am standing right next to him. Him, paying for my stuff and saving me from embarassment is kinda weird scenario after what happened.

"Sir, sukli niyo po. Ma'am, eto na po ang paper bag niyo." She smiled widely to the guy beside me. Is she trying to look cute? Wew. I rolled my eyes and grabbed the paper bag.

"Thanks." Tipid kong pasasalamat sakaniya.

"Sure, Kazumi." He replied and gazed at me before opening the door for me.
