Prince Darkness meets Balto

The Test

As he wondering through the castle, Prince finally came across the doors, leading to the lab. He then activated the voice assistant on his phone and spoke.

Prince: Shelby?

Shelby: Yeah?

Prince: Open the lab doors please

Shelby: Ok

She then opened the doors with all her power, it was amazing how we've came so far to great lengths with technology.

Shelby: It's opened

Prince: Thanks Shelby

Shelby: No problem

He then went into the barely lit hallway as the doors closed behind him. As he reached the end of the hallway, he gave his minion a message say that he had arrived. After a minute later the doors finally opened, revealing a familiar looking scientist.

Tod: Hello master

Prince: Hello there Tod, is the testing ready?

Tod: You're just on time sir, is it okay if I call you that?

Prince: It doesn't matter, where is it?

Tod: Over here

He then lead Prince to a huge test chamber where some other scientists were writing notes and chatting to each other about what the aftermath could turn out. They then went towards the window of the chamber and looked inside, There was a test subject in there wearing orange.

Prince: Is the subject ready?

Tod: He sure is

Prince: Tell them the other to give him the device

Tod: Will do

He then nodded to some other scientists as they went into the chamber, gave the subject the device and exited. Tod then grabbed a microphone and spoke

Tod: Are you ready?

Subject: Yes

Tod: Put the device on your wrist like a watch

The subject then put the device on his wrist.

Tod: If you look at the device, you will see a time, date and year on it. What does it say?

Subject: December 31 1999

Tod: You will be sent there as soon as you press the button on the device, go ahead

The subject then pressed the button and disappeared in a blue flash. He was truly gone.

Prince: Are you sure?

Tod: Don't worry, I'm sure he'll come back

*1 minute later*

The subject then reappeared in a blue flash. Tod then used the microphone again

Tod: What did you see? 

Subject: I saw... the past

Tod: Could you go into detail?

Subject: There were no Robots, no AirPods and no Teslas

Tod: Hmm, anything else?

Subject: It was Y2K

Tod: Okay that's all the info we want, you are free to go

Subject: Wait what about my money?

Tod: Don't worry you'll get your $1,000 on your way out

Subject: Okay, good luck Prince Darkness

The subject then left the room, leaving Prince with a smile. Tod then turned around.

Tod: So what did you think?

Prince: Love it

Tod: Excellent, that's good to hear

Prince: Oh and Tod, about that thing...

Tod: Oh yeah you'll get to use it in a bit, you go suit up we'll message you when it's ready

Prince: Alright

Prince then headed back to his room to get suited up for the experience of his life.
