"Alright, kids who are excited about the aquarium tour!" A cheer roamed across the crowd of kids itching to check out the exhibits, "a-alright let's get going" the teacher nervously cheered. Yachi was a little late because she got on the last bus which was still being unloaded. The school let everyone were their everyday clothes witch was, I was particularly excited to see Yachi we don't spend time together out of school and I have no idea what kind of stuff she wears. It took me about two hours to pick out my clothes, I wanted to pick out something nice so I ended up having to video call my sister Rena who was studying abroad in America. We ended picking a dress shirt and jeans which isn't super fancy but sis said that wearing a sports hoodie on a date is lame even though I told her it wasn't a date. I was expecting something simple like jeans and a T-shirt, maybe a skirt and I expected her to look really cute witch she is but she looks... beautiful. I thought my expression would be super obvious but Hinata describes it like a blushy stroke but I snapped out of it and we started exploring the aquarium. I was kinda hoping that after the talk I had with Hinata last night he would try and let me and Yachi have some alone time but he's stealing her away from me, it's annoying enough that everyone wants them to be together aside from the other people that want Hinata and I together witch is a whole other story, but he treats me like I'll burst out and profess my love at any time. It was starting to get annoying but then it got even worse when guys came up to her and started to flirt with her, that pissed me off but on the bright side when the guys left she would cling to my arm in fear which was nice. I've noticed that when she gets nervous she graces onto people's arms so whenever it looked like someone was coming over I'd stand next to her hoping that she'd grab my arm in embarrassment, but Hinata would always break it up. While we were heading to the jellyfish section and I saw a water fountain up ahead so I gave Hinata a little push and he fell into the water forcing him to change clothes leaving me and Yachi alone! Once Hinata rushed off we walked into what felt like a cave of black water filled with jellyfish, the light from the jellyfish reflected onto our faces as we walked in. The ceiling of the jellyfish aquarium looked like stars in the night sky and being with Kageyama made it that more amazing. The night before I had stressed myself out about being alone with Kageyama but I was also excited to try and get to know him a little better so I picked out the cutest outfit I could come up with, But on the day of the trip, a bunch of guys started to hit on me which made me worried that Kageyama would think I wasn't interested in him so I grabbed his arm. I did that when I was nervous anyway so but it was super nice to hold onto him, it was like hugging a warm statue but Hinata would always push apart but once he fell on the water fountain I was excited to finally get some alone time but Kageyama has been shy now that it's just the two of us. I guess I'm not much better but he's still being very quiet and he's avoiding my gave which makes it difficult to start a conversation! " hey this aquarium is cool but I heard theirs a fair downtown, wanna check it out" my heart skipped a beat as my mind thought about how this could be our first date but I shook my head and remember that we were friends and This is all super platonic"Yeah I'd love too but what about Hinata?" "I just texted him and he said he'd meet us there". I smiled and grabbed his hand and started to run for the door, if I stopped and looked back I would get too embarrassed. Once we had gotten out the door and into the city I slowed down and moved my hand away from his but he held onto it and continued walking, I didn't even notice we had gotten to the fair because I was so focused on his hand still gripping onto mine but when I looked up at the lights above I gasped in excitement because it was so beautiful! All the rides looked so fun and I wanted to ride every one of them so I gripped Kageyama's hand and ran over to the closes ride. It was so fun playing carnival games with Kageyama, he was good at a lot of the little games so I got a lot of giant stuffed animals. I would normally tell him that he didn't need to go through all this trouble for me but every time he won the game he would hold my hand, pick the cutest prize and hand it to me with the same excited smile that he has with volleyball and that made me happy. "look a Ferris wheel, do you wanna go on it Kageyama" he turned to me and squeezed my hand and nodded with that same smile, we walked over to the line and got on. As the wheel got higher and higher I probably should have been screaming but I wasn't scared when I was with Kageyama... I was safe. When we got to the top we looked out at the city below, the lights were dancing on the river and it looked like a Carnival. "Hey, Yachi" I looked over and smiled "what's up!" "I'm glad I'm with you right now" his words made me happy and gave me a warm and bubbly feeling inside as I smiled and examined his face which was covered in the dancing lights, before I knew it I was leaning in and so was he.
