Mal's POV

'Noon, huh?'

I stopped waving and locked the door.

Mal: Now what?

I decided to look around the house.

From the kitchen, dining table, living room, guest room, and then (Y/N)'s room.

'He has this whole house to himself.'

I noticed that I can't find any family photos.

I'm a bit curious about what they look like.

Inside the house was too normal/plain.

One thing I haven't checked is the basement.

I head down and it was a bunch of boxes.

Even a tent.

'Camping maybe?'

One of the boxes had a Christmas tree and lights.

'It's mid-November, might need to set it up soon.'

There was a small chest in the corner.

It looked like a treasure chest but inside were a bunch of pictures.

A picture of a guy traveling from Paris, Italy, Greece, and other countries with tourist attractions.

'(Y/N)'s father.'

I thought about (Y/N)'s backstory behind him.

'Was it an accident, murder, disaster?'

I think it's better to not think about it.

Then I found a photo of Small (Y/N) with his father and.... mother I'm guessing.

She looks..... familiar.

. . .

Nah, that would be too much of a coincidence.

But (Y/N) looks adorable in this photo through.

He had a big smile.

I wonder if he could smile like that again.

Right now, he looks like he's in pain at times.

Since I live with him now, I'll try my best to make him happy.

By my cooking, cleaning...... cuddling.

'I wish.'

I mentally sigh.

I wonder how long we can stay together without getting caught.
