Vera's POV

"C'mon, Avery, please?" I asked as we continued walking with my eyes blind-folded.

"No. It's a surprise!" I could hear his smile as we walked.

"Are we there yet?" I said with a smile of my own.

"Almost... You know that you're impatient, right?" he asked me.

"No. I'm extremely patient... Just not right now..." I replied and he let out a small laugh.

"You're right... as usual," he laughed.

"Of course, I am. So..."

"No."

"Awwww... C'mon please?" I pouted.

"You're cute when you do that," he said and I frowned.

"That's the point. I'm supposed to be so cute that you give in to what I want!" I answered.

"Yeah... Not happening."

"That's dragon dung," I replied.

"Language," he simply said in return.

"Ha ha very funny," told him dryly.

"We're here!" he finally said and pulled off my blindfold.

"'bout time," I grumbled before I stared in awe at the sight before me.

We were in a cavern that was lit by small dots on the ceiling that reminded me of the stars I loved so much.

"It's... I don't have words..." I stuttered as I turned around.

"So you like it?" he asked me.

I turned to see his kind smile and I kissed him.

"I don't like it. I love it!" I replied.

He smiled, "dance with me." He held out his hand and lead me into a slow waltz.

It was hours later that we returned to my home. We had danced until our feet hurt and then lay side-by-side staring at the stones.

"Until tomorrow, my lady," he said with a bow.

"Until tomorrow, love," I replied with a wide smile.

I watched him walk away when Night came up beside me.

"What are you doing with him?" he asked me.

I shifted and stretched before answering, "Dancing."

"Are you two together or something?"

"Night! Are you that oblivious! We've been together for like a year!"

He frowned. "Really?"

"Yes!" I groaned.

"I don't like him," he said, quietly.

"You don't like anyone!" I shouted.

"I do. You guys never ask my opinion, though."

"Wait, wait, wait. You like someone?" He simply nodded. "WHO?" I demanded.

"I never said that..." I gave him a look."Ummm... They don't like me back..." he replied and looked away.

"That doesn't answer my question."

"Why do you have to pester me about this stuff?"

"Because I'm your little sister and I like this kind of stuff. Information. Now."
