The Golden Flower.

After some time, they reached in front of the big tree. It's branches were fully covered with leaves and there was no flower on it. Ji Fan looked at the tree and happily exclaimed,

"Found it!"

Song Qi looked at the tree and said,

"But I can't see any flower on it."

Ji Fan replied while looking at the tree,

"You can't see it because it's hiding inside the leaves. It is located at the center of the tree."

Song Qi looked at Ji Fan and asked,

"How can you be so sure that this is the one?"

Ji Fan shook his head,

"I don't know. I just have a strong feeling that this is the one. As it is very different from all other plants in here. And look at the leaves, they are scattered all over the tree as if they are protecting something."

The leaves were covering the tree in such a way that even the branches cannot be seen through them.

Song Qi nodded,

"Now that you mention it, I also think it might be the one."

Ji Fan looked at Song Qi,

"It should be the one as we don't have much time."

Song Qi looked at her hands. They were turning pale. Ji Fan said,

"Qi'er, stay here. I will be back after picking up the Golden Flower."

Song Qi wanted to hold Ji Fan's hand but her hands were losing energy. Ji Fan looked at her face and smiled,

"Don't worry. I will be fine. You can watch me from here."

Song Qi knew that ever since she came with Ji Fan she was nothing more than a burden to him. She nodded with a sad expression on her face,

"Okay but be careful."

Ji Fan nodded and smiled,

"I will."

He went towards the tree and started to climb. After a while, he saw a hole inside the tree. He went inside it. Song Qi saw him climbing up but after a while he disappeared. She looked around but he was no where. She got anxious. She wanted to move forward but then she stopped and said to herself,

"No! You can't enter. Trust him. He will come back..."

Ji Fan found himself inside a vast empty space. The only source of light was from a long vine wrapped around a small hill in the center of that space. But what caught his attention the most, was the Golden flower blooming amidst the leaves of the vine. Ji Fan said with a tired smile,

"Finally..."

He went close to the vine and when he was about to pluck it. Suddenly, Ji Fan heard a sound.

"Stop! You can't take it."

Ji Fan looked around but no one was there. He asked,

"Who are you? Why are you stopping me? Look, I don't have time for it. I need to take it with me in order to save someone's life."

Suddenly, a spirit appeared infront of Ji Fan. It was a beautiful lady, dressed in a golden frock, having long golden hair with blue eyes. She looked at Ji Fan and replied,

"I am the spirit of this tree. This is my flower. You can't take it without my permission."

Ji Fan looked at the the tree spirit and said,

"I am really sorry but will you please allow me to take it. It is really important for me."

The spirit got angry,
