Lacie became able to read and understand Claude expression better and in return he spent more time with his, these days carried a new excitement to meet each other the next day

Present Time

Knock Knock

Claude: "Come in" a smile appears on the face of the emperor as he knows the person behind the door without the need to lift his head

The doors open to reveal his wife

Lacie: "Greeting Your Majesty"

Claude: "Bring us the Tea" The maid leaves and the two is left alone

Lacie: "Are you busy your Majesty?"

Claude: "If I said Yes, will you leave"

Lacie: "Of course no"

Looking up at her face, Claude can't help but laughing while she pouts

Lacie: "Its not a laughing matter"

Claude: "Come here" and he extend his hand

Moving toward the desk there is always a cheer placed next to Claude for Lacie when she come during the working time of Claude

Lacie take her seat as he keep a hold on her hand, its been two days since he saw her as he received political guests for a few days and whenever he's done its always late and she's sleeping so he could only gaze at her sleeping face for a period of time than he take his leave

Lacie: "I heard the envoy left this morning, you worked hard your Majesty"

Claude: "Did you run away..."

Lacie: "I did not, if she looked for me, she knows where to find me"

Chuckling at her, he put his other hand behind her back and moves her so she's sticking close to him

Lacie: "This time I am not to blame, I just can't appreciate the arrangement of the Duchess"

Duchess of Wallis, Miss Katherine is the new addition to Lacie life, as the Duchess has become responsible to teach the new queen her duty, Miss Katherine worked before in the castle as the late queen lady in waiting. When she married, she resigned and left with her husband who has died last year and she stayed in the country side since then, they didn't have any children

but she didn't expect to receive a summon to the palace to guide the new queen and since this request came from the emperor him-self she came immediately, the women in the beginning of her 50s didn't find it in her heart to refuse it since she know him since his childhood

Just from the first meeting Lacie noticed that Duchess is a strict person to the manners and rules but for the promise she made she needed to put her effort to learn from this woman

Claude: "What happened this time?"

Lacie: "She invited noble ladies for a tea time, since I learned the work I need to do I don't need to work on socializing"

Claude: "Why not?"

Lacie: "I don't want to deal with fake people"

Claude looked at her as she leaned back and looked up at his face, he knows what she is fearing

The high society of nobles know the way he treated her, they talked about it he know its his fault but he will not allow it to go on anymore.
