L: it's obvious George has had enough of me and Emmy being there and I'm not upset with him I'm mad with myself, I always do this.
A: do what? All you are doing is spending time with your friends, and I get it's hard to do that with Emmy.
L: I just think I should start staying with Emmy.
A: well atleast come with her tonight , you don't have to go near George just stay with me alright?
L: yeah. Okay.
(LYLAS POV) It was a couple hours after and I made my way to George and Alex's, I knocked on the door hoping Alex picked it up. Luckily it was. "Hi!" Alex said "Hey." I said smiling slightly as Emmy got picked up by Alex. "Are you sure I should be here?" I said "Yeah , we can stay in the main area or go to my room so George doesn't randomly come in?" He said "Yeah.. thanks that's good." I said as we walked into his room.
It had been about a hour of just talking and laughing, Alex was just posting to insta now

(LYLAS POV) I was reading through the comments to see George's.. then followed by a shout saying "ALEX" then followed by George walking in saying "why didn't you tell me they were here!" Seeing as he didn't notice I was there, but then he did. "Oh uh you're still here." He said "yeah." I said It was awkward between us.. it's never been like this. It sucked. Emmy was still asleep in Alex's bed with her toy. "I can leave if you want." I said "No! You don't have to this is stupid!" Alex said I kind of just sat in silence after that. I've never felt so awkward between the both of them. "I.. I never said she should leave. " George said in his defence. "but you never want her around! Ever! What the hell is wrong with you!" Alex shouted waking up Emmy. "What's wrong with me? " George said "yeah!" Alex said "Alex I can't deal with you right now." George said "Why not!" Alex shouted Before George could reply we all heard a knock at the door, we all looked at the front door as George went over and opened it. "Hey!" He said happily as he hugged the person coming in. Me and Alex we're trying to see what was happening until they came over to Alex's room. And that's when I noticed. They were holding hands. That didn't mean anything though.. Right. Why do I care? I don't. I do.
"Oh.. that's why." Alex said quietly "Oh uh.. lyla this is Beth. My girlfriend." "oh.. girlfriend! Yeah um. Uh nice to meet you" I said trying to not sound upset. "Hi! It's great to meet you too!" She said She was like.. really pretty. It sucked. "We are gonna be in my room alright?" George said "Uh. Yeah sure." Alex said breaking eye contact as the couple walked to George's room. "wow." I said "Uh.. yeah." Alex replied "how come he never mentioned her. And that I've never met her." I asked "Maybe he didn't want you to meet her." Alex said "Do you think that's why he wanted me to leave?" I asked "Probably." He replied "But why..." I said "maybe he didn't want you to get upset?" Alex said "Why would I be upset!" I said "Lyla. We all know." Alex said "Know what?" I asked "do you not realise the way you look at him?" Alex laughed "what!" I said "even the way he looks .. at you." Alex said "He looks at me normal!" I said "he's never looked at Beth the way he looks at you lyla." Alex said I knew I had some feelings for George but I didn't know it would go this far.
