hoyoung was sitting in one of the bathroom stalls throwing up,shivering and cursing himself for losing attention in the worst time possible,why now?why here? And most importantly how?

He raised his head and sat to look at the trail of blood dripping from his leg,the skin is already pale and the wound was burning,he wanted to end it but rest was not an option as other rabids roamed and felt as if death was staring from the window

And why would he be here if it wasn't for just a stare

"Come here you stubborn corpse" gyehyeon yelled on top of his lungs as he followed the rabid across the school,finally after long minutes of chasing gyehyeon managed to hunt it down,and now he needs to see why the lights were on in one of the rooms and turn it off so it won't attract any unnecessary danger,shortly after he heard a short yell coming from upstairs

Gyehyeon knew that the three are already fighting outside so they can't be them up there,he was worried that someone upstairs was bitten, which sparked the fear of them already reaching the last floor when they weren't paying attention,so he dashed to the source of the sound,only to get surprised at where the rabids were,the source of ligh,the bathroom

They were between five and six and there was a noise of fighting inside,how did so many manage to get there?he didn't know the answer for it but he was sure that whoever was inside needed help

With quick and powerful swing,he managed to break the neck of one of them,he then swung the shovel again to hit another one and broke its skull as soon as it fell,after few minutes of fighting he managed to get inside,his shovel slipping from his hand at the view in front of him

"Ho.........young?"he asked in shock as he looked at him stabbing the rabid that was biting his arm in the head

"G-gyehyeon"hoyoung said in heavy breath as he removed the knife from the rabids head and kicked it away "g-go........g-go away"

"What do you mean go away?"he yelled at him in panic as he rushed to his aid"you obviously need help,we have to do something before you transform"

Gyehyeon tried to look at the bite and help hoyoung to stand up only to be pushed away and get yelled at.

"I TOLD YOU TO LEAVE"He yelled as he pushed gyehyeon and sat again as his legs couldn't handle his weight"It's.....too late.....they bit me.....m-many times"

Gyehyeon just stared at him as he held his wounds,with bites on his arm, shoulder and leg,saving him is basically an impossible task,it was already a miracle that he's still in a right state of mind

Hoyoung's surroundings are already becoming foggy and dark as he struggled to keep his thinking straight,the pain becoming unbearable as if maggots were eating him alive while crawling all the way from the bites to his brain,each breath and move was a battle at this point,but he had to say some words

"y-yeonho and kangmin a-are alone.....they already locked the door so.......so rabids won't come there.......g-go to them....... I-I have to deal with this on my own"

"W-wait"gyehyeon at him"what are you planning to do?"

"The right thing"he said as he pulled his knife and pointed it at his neck,not knowing if his hands were trembling because of pain or fear,he closed his eyes shut and tightened the grip on the knife to do what he has to do

"NO"gyehyeon yelled and stopped him just a second before the knife could find its place in his neck "are you crazy? What's going on inside your mind?"

"This the only solution,if I didn't do it I'll transform soon"

"There HAS to be another way"gyehyeon argued "you can't die like that,things weren't supposed to end like that"

Hoyoung stayed silent for a moment before talking while tears were slowly streaming from his eyes"s-sorry......if I listened to yeonho and didn't leave the room,if I paid more attention......if I had acted differently......things probably would've been different"
