Lost

Chapter 6

Zhu hong shake her head and walked to her room upstairs. She layed on the bed and closed her eyes for some rest. On the other side, daqing is sketching something and mumble a song slowly. He smile as looking at the sketch....."who are you........?" daqing asked looking at the sketch. He made a sketch of yezhun holding wei in his embrace, not showing his face.

He looked at yezhun face and smile, "hmmm there is something special in you Mr......" daqing mumble. He glued the sketch in front of the wall where his others sketches are hanging and he put it on top of them all.

Suddenly, daqing remember that yezhun holding someone with long hair...."Is he married....? " daqing think and looked at the sketch that he made......"who are you....?" daqing asked looking at the figure that yezhun holding in his arms. 

He put on his headphone and start doing his work on laptop. 

At Mall, yunlan frown after talking with zhu hong. He sense that something is not right and sigh. "Found anything....?" yunlan asked as chu and guo came to him. Chu nod and they walked out from there.

suddenly yunlan stop as his eyes caught something. He looked at it with sad eyes, and his legs dragged him towards it. There he saw a beautiful butterfly key chain. Yunlan hold it in his palm as a small smile appear on his lips, bringing some memories to him.

"Ah lan.....here....(giving him the butterfly key chain) i bought this for you.....! Stay safe and ride slow okay......! Love you....."  a sweet voice came to yunlan making his eyes moist. "do you want to buy it sir....?" the worker asked. Yunlan came back to his senses and nod no.

As he turn back he found that chu and guo are standing face to face him. "can we go....?" chu asked coldly. Yunlan sigh and walked out in hurry. Chu looked at him and then the key chain that yunlan looking at a moment ago. "How far can you run chief.......his memory is chasing after you........" chu mumbled and guo scratch his head and about to write it down to make a note.

As chu glare at him and he put back his notebook inside his bag that he always carry with him and follow chu outside. They all came back and sit together in the big hall. Talking about the case.  

"everyone said that he is a good man and punctual towards his work. He never did take a leave for once. And do his duty sincerely........" chu said what he get from the mall. "And he left this job two days ago to join the new one....! Wang did you contact his family...?" yunlan asked. "Yes chief....! His wife will came tomorrow here......" wang said and yunlan nod. 

"Okay....you can go now it's late now....! " yunlan said and everyone sigh relief..feeling exhausted. Everyone left except chu and ling jing. They both never leave yunlan ever at all. And always stay with him no matter what.

"why you two stay here...! can't you go back home.....?" yunlan whined as he stretch his legs. Chu looked at ling jing and then to yunlan. "why are you staying here...?" chu asked. And yunlan didn't said anything to it. Because he also know.........he can't make any excuse to these two.

 Yunlan than start reading the report carefully avoiding those two, to start any conversation right now........chu looked at yunlan who act like he is reading the file but he is not. His mind is lost some where else.

"stop torturing yourself........." chu said glaring at yunlan. Yunlan gaze at chu. "what do you mean....?" yunlan asked. "You clearly know what we mean...." ling jing said. Yunlan glare at them two who are just coldly looking at him. Yunlan closed the file and throw it on the table in frustration.

"Fine...! say it...! whatever you wanna say....!" yunlan said crossing his arms together. "Chief...! You already know what we will say to you...! why are you ding all this.....?" ling jing said. "It was all in the past now.....! I have a good life with zhu hong....." yunlan said. 

"Good life...? In which planet are you living chief...? We all clearly see how good is your life with zhu hong...." chu said coldly. Yunlan stand up in anger. "He was a liar....! he lie to me......all the time.....for everything......." yunlan shout his lungs out.

"shouting will not help you chief....! You know what he means to you....! And he never lie to you...." chu said and walked away from there to his cabin and ling jing also walked inside his lab. Yunlan sigh in frustration and he also walked back inside his cabin and throw his jacket on the couch......

"Ah lan...!! don't take stress dear....! you look weird..." a sweet voice, came and yunlan blood boil hearing it. "you..!! you stop playing with my mind......get out.." yunlan shout. And pull his hair harshly in mad.

"I will do whatever you say.......remember...!!" voice said and fade away. Yunlan breath heavily and sit upon his chair in anger, he drink water to calm down. As he pulled out his purse and open it. He saw picture of his family in which he, himself, zhu hong and zhao xinchi smiling. 

Yunlan pulled another folded picture from behind it......he pulled it half out as something else fall down from there. It's a necklace......a beautiful silver necklace with red pendant in it........yunlan grab that necklace and hold it in his hand..........

"You are a liar....! I don't believe you.......! I trusted you, and you do this to me.......you are not worthy of my love...! you are not worthy to be with me......get lost and never show your disgusted face to me........" zhao yunlan shout at someone and snatch that pendant from his neck in mad.

Yunlan snapped open his eyes as chu knock on the door. "i brought you some food...." chu said while opening the door. Yunlan hurriedly put everything inside his pocket and wipe his face covered in tears and sweat.

He fake his coldness, thinking chu didn't saw him in this condition. But chu already saw him like that, but he didn't said anything right now. Yunlan nod and realize that he didn't eat anything from morning.

Yunlan follow chu outside as they three have their dinner together silently. Yunlan eat hurriedly as he felt hungry after taking the first bite. Chu gave some more food to yunlan. He know that his silly chief will make himself ill by starving himself.

He remembered that someone use to bring him home made food for him everyday, and yunlan happily eat it. And now, he just forgot to eat properly and make himself ill all the time..........
