Zhu Hong felt something warm touching her cheeks gently. She blinked her eyes and feels like she is dreaming..... Or her dream comes true. Yunlan sitting near him caresses her cheeks gently and smiling at her....

She sit up hurriedly and poked upon yunlan cheeks...., "Am I dreaming....?" she mumbled. Yunlan chuckled lightly..... "So you dream this.....?" yunlan asked. Zhu Hong widen her eyes.... Its real..... He is real. Yunlan really sitting in front of her smiling at her.....

She blush and avert her gaze... "Aiyoo... I never thought that you are this fierce.....! You will work with me as a field officer from now on...." yunlan said. "Really.....? With you....?" zhu Hong asked.

"Of course....! What you did last night is really brave of you and..... Thank you to save my life and protect shen wei...... If you don't stopped them.... They might take shen wei away....." yunlan said worries for shen wei.

He didn't even notice that zhu Hong smile fade away as soon as he start talking about shen wei in front of her.... But chu noticed that and frown.....

He just looked at her how she looked at yunlan, and how sad she become whenever yunlan said shen wei name.....

"Take some rest for now okay.......!" yunlan said and gently caresses zhu Hong cheek again. Her cheeks are getting fine and the swelling is now getting low but still visible..... Yunlan caresses her cheeks. Because he is checking how swollen is her cheeks and how hardly she got punch by that man.......

He walked out with chu and about to go to meet shen wei. "Hm... I think you should take your medicine first....." chu said stopping yunlan. And luckily ling jing walked there.... He is thinking of something in worry and didn't notice yunlan and chu standing in front of him....

He got startled seeing them two there..... He looked at yunlan then to chu....." Ay....! Where are you wondering.....? Don't you want to take rest... Huh....? Tell me where is shen wei....?" yunlan said.

Ling jing worriedly looked at chu and chu sign him to not to say anything. "Umm.. He... He is sleeping and totally fine......! What are you doing here chief....? You should take your medicines.... Go go.... Doctor is on his round....." ling jing said helping chu to take yunlan away from shen wei.....

Chu nod to ling jing and take yunlan back to his room...." After the checkup.... I want to meet shen wei okay..... "yunlan said laying on the bed.... Chu nod and smile.

Doctor came and inject something to yunlan.... Yunlan fall asleep while falki g to chu about shen wei....." I am sorry chief.....! But i don't think you could take that much.... You need some rest.... He will be alright...." chu mumbled to sleeping yunlan while covering his body with quilt........

After that he hurriedly walked out to talk with ling jing and asked about any progress in shen wei condition.....

" what's the matter ling jing....? How's shen wei sir....? " chu asked walking near ling jing who is worriedly talking on his phone. He end the call and looked at chu.... "There is no improvement at all....! Doctor said if sir didn't woke up, he might got into coma......" ling jing said sitting down on the bench near him.

He took a deep breath and stay silent. Chu also sit beside him and worriedly looked at ling jing. "It's gonna be okay....! Don't worry" chu said but he is also got worried now.....

They both sit there silently waiting for the doctors to give some good news to them.......

At that dark room....

"You had one job to do....! One job....! Fine....! I will take them down by myself now......." A voice said in anger and walked out from the room....

At hospital,
"Officer....! The girl you have brought is totally fine and the another one is also out of danger and gain his conscious.... You can meet them..." Doctor said to chu and ling jing.

Chu nod...., "Stay here...! I will be back....." chu said colldy.... And walked away with the doctor........before entering, he said something to his officers and walked inside.

It was Mingmei room. She is looking really good and healthy. Her swollen eyes are now replaced with the cute eyes. She looked at chu and the doctor who just walked in after a small knock.

"How are you feeling today....?" doctor asked checking her as she nod yes looking at chu. After doctor left them two, chu sit near her.... "Where is my gege....?" Mingmei asked before chu could speak anything.

Chu looked at her sweet innocent face......he sigh deeply and try to form a word.... What to say to her.....? "Your........ Your gege... He is..... (clearing his throat) he is....." chu can't say anymore as his words got stuck in his throat.

"Is he dead.......?" Mingmei asked staring right at chu eyes. Chu eyes got wide as he lost his words...... "He is....... Yes...! He is dead..... But he is still here with you always protecting you....." chu said pointing towards her heart.

Chu is not a kind of person who can calm anyone and say some soothing words to express his care. Mingmei cry silently.... But she wipe her tears as soon as the tears fall down from her eyes.

She calm herself," Is shen wei gege also dead........?" she asked. Chu closed his eyes and took a deep breathe....,"He is fine... I guess. Just pray for him to be get well soon.... So that he can protect you......" chu said.

She lightly smile at chu, "I know....! Gege told me that if he is gone. I can trust wei gege......" Mingmei said innocently wiping her tears from her cheeks....

Chu nod and caresses her cheeks gently..... "You are one brave girl....! You know that....." chu said and also smile at her.... After that he left her and walked inside the another room with a coldness in his face......
