Chapter 10

(A/N: I'm gonna stick with the original design for Morgan.)

After many days of anticipation, the UA Festival finally arrives and everyone was buzzing with excitement. On their way to school, Alex kept going on about how excited they were and this was their moment to shine and impress the Pro Heroes out there. 

At first, Morgan wasn't excited for the festival and was planning to not even bother trying. That was until Duke approached her this morning and told her that he would be in the crowd cheering them on. He apologized for how he acted the last time he talked to her and that he was happy that Morgan and Alex got into UA. Morgan wanted to win now, she wanted to win for her brother.

Once they arrived, they went their own ways and headed towards the locker rooms to change into their gym uniform. 

Morgan walked out of the locker room, tying her ponytail when Shinigami and Rocky approached her.

"It's been a while since we've seen each other." Shinigami said as he gives her a smile.

"I don't know you." Morgan replied bluntly before finishing up with her hair and walking past the pair.

'They're so weird. I'm glad I'm not in the same class as them.'

To Morgan's surprise, the festival wasn't so bad. 

During the Obstacle Race, Morgan was able to dodge a lot of the things by flying above everything and dodging. She only managed to get fourth place however when she saw Alex struggling and decided to fly back to help them and managed to get Alex into fifth place.

The Cavalry Fight was a different story though. She had planned to join Izuku 's team but was pulled aside by Shinigami, convincing her to join his team. Morgan would roll her eyes at him and watch Izuku and his team in the distance. By the time Shinigami had finished talking, Izuku's team was already assembled and she was forced to be on Shinigami's team. The worst part was that she had to be one of the people at the bottom along with Alex and Rocky. Surprisingly, they managed to get into the next round, much to Morgan's surprise. Girls would hand Shinigami their flags or even ran towards him to allow him to steal it.

Finally came the One-on-One Tournament. Morgan began to feel anxious as she sat alone in one of the waiting rooms, staring at her hands. Her quirk is still unstable, what if she burned someone on accident? Maybe she can hold off on using her flames and focus on only using her wings, tail, and claws.

Morgan sighed and got up to watch the other fights. She smiled proudly when she watched Izuku overcome Hitoshi's quirk. To watch her friend come this far made her proud and amazed, Izuku was never the type to give up and she truly admired that. 

Her thoughts were interrupted when the next fighters were presented on the large screen. Morgan was up against Alex.

"Hell yeah! I've always wanted to see who's the strongest out of the two of us!" Alex said cheerful as they threw an arm around Morgan's shoulders. She felt a bit relieved that she was going up against Alex since Alex was aware of Morgan's unstable quirk, they'll be more careful around her.

The two headed down and got ready at the arena. Alex waved to the crowd, grinning brightly while Morgan kept her head down and did several quick stretches. Once they were both ready, the buzzer goes off.

Alex quickly summoned several ninja stars, throwing them at Morgan's way. She moved aside to miss them and started running towards him.

"What is she doing? Why isn't she using her quirk?" Tenya asked as the rest of class A-1 watched.
