Kagagaling ko lang magsimba kasama si Kuya Ezra at Kuya Eisen, kaming tatlo lang. Nag out of town kasi si
Tita dahil naimbitahan sa party ng wedding anniversary ng kasosyo ni Tito Gilbert sa pharmaceutical company nito.

Si Kuya Ezra at Kuya Eisen ay kasalukuyang nag-uusap sa likuran ko habang papasok kami sa mansion. Tungkol sa pagsisimula ng trabaho nila sa pharmaceutical company ang seryoso nilang dini-discuss.

They're both studying under a pre-med course, Kuya Eisen is under BS pharmacy and I think that he is passionate and content about it.

While I think Kuya Ezra has no choice but to pursue BS Biochemistry because however famous our university here in El Valencia is, it still doesn't offer the pre-med course that he wants to take.

I even heard that Kuya Ezra's planning to go abroad next year and study under BS Medical Technology.

They're both off for the medical field, leaving me to be the only one who'll handle Herrera International Inc. in the near future. Just thinking about the big responsibility makes me determined and nervous at the same time.

Pero mas nangingibabaw yata ang takot kong manguna sa kompanya. What if I fail? Our company is already at the top ever since Dad's grandfather built it. It would be such a shame if I can't continue the legacy.

Agad kong inialis sa isipan ang tungkol sa pamumuno sa kompanya dahil matagal na panahon pa naman 'yon.

And then it got me thinking that Kuya Eisen's studying under BS Pharmacy. 'Tsaka tingin ko kaklase sila ni Luci base sa pag-uusap namin noon ni Kuya sa exam nila.

Ibig bang sabihin, BS pharmacy student rin si Luci? O hindi, at kaklase lang sila ni Kuya sa iilang mga subjects? And wait a minute, why am I suddenly curious about him now? Really Cara?

"Cara, magpapa-pool party kami ngayon, iilang kaibigan lang naman namin ang dadalo," pagpapaalam sa akin ni Kuya Eisen.

Natigil ako sa pangalawang baitang ng hagdan dahil sa sinabi niya.

Pool party? This must be a celebration for their first work slash training in the pharmaceutical company huh?

I nodded at both Kuya Eisen and Kuya Ezra.

"Is it okay with you?" Masuring tingin ang ginawad sa akin ni Kuya Ezra.

"Of course it's okay with me Kuya, you should celebrate that you have now started your training at the Pharmacia Serranos."

Sa matagal na panahon ko sa kanila ni Tita, kahit papaano ay nakaramdam pa rin naman akong may kompleto akong pamilya.

And it just makes feel thankful and warm whenever they let me know about their family's decisions down to the smallest decisions like this pool party that they're telling me right now.

"By the way Kuya Eisen, how about the payment for the first session with my... uh, tutor?" tanong ko bago tuluyang umakyat papunta sa kuwarto ko.

"Uh yeah, na-settle na namin 'yon ni Luci," Kuya answered casually.

Tumango ako bago nagpaalam sa kanilang dalawa ni Kuya Ezra na aakyat na sa kuwarto ko.

I wonder if he's going to teach me today? Sabi niya kasi kahapon na ire-resume namin ngayon?

But anyway, it's a Sunday, it's okay if he won't be able to teach me today. I would even be glad!

Nang nakapasok na ako sa kwarto at nagsisimula nang magbihis ay tumunog ang ringtone ng phone ko, tanda na may na-receive na message.
