I lightly pushed him away from me.

"A....Ashton?" I looked at him confused.

"I love you Aria, it's as simple as that." I turned away from him and started walking away.

I.... I don't know what to say.

He just confessed that he loves me? But I can't reciprocate his feelings even if I wanted to..

I looked to my right to see Aiden standing, leaned against his car, his hands in his pockets.

A man, out of no where, appears on my right side, pointing a gun towards Ashton's direction.

My eyes widened. I looked at Ashton to see he still hadn't noticed anything.

I look back at the guy who was unlocking his gun to pull the trigger.

"Ashton!" I swiftly moved in front of Ashton, without thinking much.

I gasped as I felt a bullet pierce through my back.

"A...Ari?" Ashton looked at me in horror.

I lost my balance and my body fell limp onto Ashton's.

"Aria." He yelled.

"Call the fucking ambulance." I heard him yell but his voice felt like one from far away.

All the surroundings were swirling around me and that's when everything went dark.
