Battle on the bridge

Reina's POV
I walked behind Kakashi,Sasuke, and Sakura as we followed tazuna to the bridge.
I wanted to stay to watch Naruto, but I had to watch Sasuke instead.
We finally arrived at tazuna's half built bridge.
"Oh no who did this!" Tazuna said worried.
I look around Kakashi to see tazuna men beat up.
"Oh no Sasuke protect me!" I yelled latching on to his arm.
He shook me off and glared.
Mist started surrounding us.
"Sasuke, Sakura, Reina get ready" Kakashi told us.
We surrounded tazuna holding up a kunei.
"It's Zabuza isn't it, with his hidden mist jutsu" Sakura said.
'No shit Sakura' I rolled my eyes.
"Sorry I kept you waiting Kakashi. I see you've still got those brats with you. That ones still trembling, how pitiful" Zabuza teased.
His shadow clones then appeared in front of us.
"I'm trembling with excitement" Sasuke smirked, probably thinking he was cool.
"Go on Sasuke" Kakashi said.
Sasuke quickly cut through all the clones.
I'll admit he's fast but not as fast as me.
"Oh looks like you could see they were water clones. The brats improving looks like you have a rival Haku" Zabuza said.
Zabuza wouldn't of said that if he knew I was the fox, I wonder why Haku didn't tell him.
"Looks like you were lying about being a tracking ninja, that was a good trick" Kakashi said.
"That was a trick! You will pay!" I yelled, pretending to through hands.
"And hiding behind a mask, who does he think he's fooling" Kakashi taunted.
"Speak for yourself sensei" Sakura said.
"That's it, I'm taking him out. Who does he think he's fooling, what a clown hiding behind a mask" Sasuke said.
"Sasuke your so cool!" Sakura squealed.
'Kakashi literally said the same things I sweat dropped.
"Yeah Sasuke save us!" I cheered.
Haku then started spinning towards Sasuke.
I guess I'm supposed to just stand here until he's about to die.
Haku ended up blocking one of his hands.
I looked down seeing they were surrounded by water.
I looked over at Kakashi and he gave me an eye signal to go.
I ran over and hit Haku in the stomach with my head.
We fell over on the ground, but that didn't stop him from completing his jutsu.
Needles started forming and flew at Sasuke.
I rolled off Haku and stood up holding a kunei.
Then shruiken came at him from up in the air.
Sasuke dodged the needles by using chakra to jump high in the air.
Sasuke then appeared behind him.
"Your not as fast as you think, from now on you will be defending from my attacks" he said cockingly.
Haku turned around and jumped away.
Sasuke then came at him with a kunei.
Haku blocked it with his needle.
Sasuke threw a kunei he had hidden and kicked him to the ground.
"Thought you were quicker huh what else were you wrong about" Sasuke taunted.
"Hehe I helped Sasuke" I grinned.
"You barely did anything Reina, you could've got hurt!" Sakura yelled at me.
"You made a big mistake insulting these ninjas and calling them brats. That's just guaranteed to bring out Sasuke's attitude. He's the best young fighter of the hidden leaf village, Sakura here is our sharpest mind, and Reina is our kindest heart" Kakashi explained.
I've barley been doing anything this hole trip so I don't blame him for saying kindest heart.
But still I'm smarter and I'm a better fighter then Sakura and Sasuke, I glared at them.
"And we can't forget our number one hyperactive Knucklehead ninja, Naruto uzamaki" Kakashi finished.
Naruto probably woken up by now and immediately started running over here.
I looked over at Haku to see ice mirrors forming around Sasuke and him.
'Crap'
I took a step towards them and Zabuza appeared in front of me.
"Where are you going brat" Zabuza said.
"Hey Zabuza, it's been a while and i see you and Haku have improved" I smiled.
"What are you talking about red head" he glared.
He then saw Kakashi running and went to stop him.
Sakura then came running and threw a kunei into the ice mirrors.
Haku stopped it by catching it.
Shuriken then came from no where and hit Haku our of the mirror.
'Naruto' I thought.
Then a smoke bomb went off.
'He's such an idiot!' I thought.
'I feel bad for my other half'
'I do too' I sighed.
"Naruto uzamaki is here yeah. Believe it!" Naruto yelled.
"Naruto!" Sakura and I yelled.
I glared at Sakura, why is she excited if she doesn't even like him.
"You know how the hero comes in late and saves the day in movies! Well that's what I'm going to do!" He yelled confidently.
"Alright shadow clo-" he got cut off.
"Naruto move!" Kakashi yelled.
Zabuza threw shuriken at him.
I was about to move until Haku deflected them with needles.
I stood there confused.
"This is a battle not a talent show! Don't let your opponent see your jutsu!" Kakashi scolded Naruto.
"Ahhh I'm sorry!" he backed away scared.
"Zabuza this boy, let me fight him my own way please" Haku said.
"Bring it on!" Naruto yelled.
I ran over to Naruto.
"Yeah! The uzamaki twins will defeat you!" I yelled taking out a kunei.
"Yeah believe it!"
"Haku you want me to leave this up to you? As usually your to soft" Zabuza told him.
"Forgive me..." he said.
'Soft?' I thought.
I looked at Sasuke to see him only having scratches.
'Is he trying to mess with them or not wanting to kill them' I thought.
"I'm warning you, one way or another I'm gonna to rip off that mask and take you apart!" Naruto threatened Haku.
"You were lying to us with that bogus story! Your just a phony, you were with
Zabuza all along. You think you can get away with a stunt like that!" Naruto yelled.
"I'm sorry. But deceiving your opponent, catching them off guard is what it means to be a ninja. Please don't take it personally" he said.
Sasuke then threw a kunei at him.
He dodged it with ease.
"I haven't forgotten about you" he said.
Haku is very observant, one of the reason why he found out my identity.
He then walked to the ice mirror.
"Hey where are you going!" Naruto yelled.
"It's alright, we will have our fight next" Haku told him well going into the ice.
I then quickly stuck my sealed kunei into the bridge.
Needles started coming at Sasuke from every direction.
I then saw Naruto run in the mirrors.
'It's not to late to be an only child'
'At this point that does sound nice' I sighed.
They both then started arguing.
It was probably the most I ever heard Sasuke talk.
I then grabbed out shuriken and threw them at the mirrors.
Haku caught both of them and threw them on the ground.
I then was about to punch one until Zabuza grabbed me by the wrist.
"I remember you" Zabuza sneered.
I smirked at him.
"Ahhhh Sasuke help me!" I yelled helplessly.
He threw me over the bridge.
'Now I'll be all wet' I thought as I hit the water.
I swam up and coughed.
Then sea sickness hit me.
'But I'm not even on a boat!' I complained.
Then something hit my head, hard.
I grabbed it and rubbed my head.
I looked at it to find it was my sealed kunei.
'Ugh Zabuza, now I'll have to climb up'
I was about to step on the water, until a huge wave pulled me back under.
I came back up and stepped on the water.
"Damn ocean! I hate you!" I yelled well stomping on it.
I grabbed two kunei from my bag and walked to one of the pillars.
I then started climbing my way up.
The only reason went in the water was so u don't look suspicious.
The higher I got the more thick the fog become.
'It must by Zabuza's hidden mist jutsu' I thought.
I finally made it to the top and climbed over the railing.
'With fog this thick no one will be able to see me' I smirked.
I then heard Sakura scream from the distance.
I quickly sprinted to the scream.
Kakashi was standing in front of tazuna and Sakura and in front of them was Zabuza.
'Kakashi looks like he's handling it so I have to find Haku' I thought.
Before and could move Zabuza was coming at me.
I quickly ran in to the fog, out of sight of Sakura.
"Resengan!" I yelled.
I pushed down zabuza's sword and flung myself over him.
I was met with two water clones grabbing my arms.
"Stop pretending to be weak, those brats will die anyway" Zabuza said.
"I only take orders from the hokage" I sneered.
Kakashi then came and sliced one of the water clones.
I then flipped the other one onto the ground and punched him.
"Good luck trying to protect them" Zabuza laughed well disappearing into the fog.
"Go back to tazuna and Sakura, I'll go and protect Naruto and Sasuke" I told Kakashi.
"Okay" he agreed.
I slid my sealed kunei on the ground and teleported to it.
Luckily it landed right next to an ice mirror.
I looked in and saw Haku coming at Naruto.
I quickly made a decision to teleport to him.
I always have a seal on Naruto to make sure he's safe.
I stood right in front of him waiting for impact.
But it never came.
I open my eyes to see black duck butt hair.
"You get in the way Naruto, you never fail" Sasuke grunted.
"Ah Sasuke Reina!" Naruto yelled.
He looked behind him at me.
"H-how did you get there so fast?" He said.
I noticed the needle inside his chest.
'Did I just fail my mission' I stared in shock
"You should look at the look on your face, you look like a total loser" Sasuke grunted out to naruto.
"Why did you save me, why did you do it?" Naruto asked.
"I don't know why, I just did" Sasuke said.
"Was I not fast enough? It's it's all my fault, I should've been here. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry" I apologized with tears.
I've failed missions before, but not like this.
I put my hole life into protecting him, and now it's all falling apart.
"It was no ones fault" Sasuke said.
"I didn't ask for you to protect me!" Naruto yelled.
"I don't know, my body just moved on it's own. There was no time to think" Sasuke explained.
He started falling over and I let Naruto catch him.
"He-he's still out there, my brother. I promised myself I would stay alive until I killed him. Naruto don't let your dream die" Sasuke struggled out.
He then closed his eyes.
"Is this the first time you've seen a friend die in battle, that's what it means to be a ninja" Haku said going into a ice mirror.
My hair flew up as I glared at Haku intensely.
'You have to calm down or you won't be able to think straight'
'The mission is over so why should I!' I yelled at Kurama.
"Shut up!" Naruto yelled at Haku.
Smoke started coming from Naruto.
'It's my other half'
'Oh shit' I said.
"You'll pay for this" Naruto told Haku.
Red chakra started swirling around everywhere.
"I'm going to kill you" Naruto told Haku.
This feeling coming from Naruto I never felt before.
It was all blood lust, evil, and anger.
I've never been fully conscious enough to fully feel kurama's chakra
'Naruto has my angrier half, so it's best to get out of here'
'You tell me now!'
I grabbed Sasuke and waited for a chance to leave.
Naruto shatters and mirror and started fighting Haku.
I picked up Sasuke and ran out of there.
I then put him on the ground.
I looked at him and saw his chest moving up and down.
'He's breathing!' I smiled.
Haku then came flying out of the mirror and hit the ground.
The mirrors shattered as Haku stood up.
Naruto came running at him.
Then Haku's mask shattered too.
Naruto came to complete stop.
It sounded like they were talking but I couldn't here what.
Naruto then punched him.
I looked at Sasuke and started to try and heal him.
I took out every needle, except the middle one just in case it went through a vein.
'Is this what Zabuza meant as soft? Haku wouldn't make a mistake like this' I thought.
There was then loud growls.
'Kakashi's dogs' I thought.
I looked around to find the fog slowly lifting.
Appearing in front of Naruto was Haku in front of Zabuza, protecting him from being killed by kakashi.
"Huh I don't get it, what the heck is going on here!" Naruto yelled.
Zabuza then swung at Kakashi with his hand still in Haku.
He jumped up avoiding the attack.
"Naruto! You, Riena, and Sasuke made it ok! Where Sasuke anyway!" Sakura yelled.
There was silence from Naruto, as he thought Sasuke was dead.
Zabuza and Kakashi started fighting as Sakura and Tazuna started running over.
"Sakura! He's ok!" I yelled to her well smiling.
Naruto looked at me with shocked eyes.
"Sasuke!" Sakura came and hugged him, she looked like she was about to cry.
Naruto ran over and kneeled down at his feet.
I hugged him and patted his head.
"It's ok to cry. You did amazing so you should be able to let your feeling out" I soothed him.
I felt two drops hit my legs.
"I'm fine" he mumbled.
"Yeah, yeah" I smiled gratefully.
"He did a good number on you Zabuza" a man said.
I looked over seeing not her than Gato.
With about a hundred of men behind him.
Gato walked over to Haku and kicked him in the face.
Naruto quickly got up and started running.
"Get away! Get away! Get away!"he yelled, but to only be stopped by Kakashi.
I stood up getting ready to help fight.
"Sakura watch Sasuke, okay?" I asked.
"Okay" she said with a teary face.
I looked over to see zabuza's mask falling off his face.
I started walking over as Naruto threw Zabuza a kunei.
He caught it with his mouth and ran into the crowd of people.
Slicing everyone near him.
He then made it to Gato and stabbed him.
He grabbed the kunei out and sliced him, until finally pushing Gato into the ocean.
Zabuza stumbled back trying to get to Haku.
Sadly he collapsed before he could make it.
"Naruto! Reina!" Sakura yelled.
We looked behind us to see Sasuke.
He slowly put his hand up.
I smiled seeing he was ok.
"This party ain't over yet" one of the guys said.
"Who's going to pay us now Gatos gone" another one said.
"No way we're going to leave empty handed, so will just hit up the village to see what they got" another said.
I looked at them and glared.
They started rushing toward until they suddenly got stopped by an arrow.
"No way your going threw our village without going through us!" a villager yelled.
Inari, Tazunas grandson was standing right in front of them.
"Shadow clone justu!" 5 Naruto's appeared.
Then about 50 Kakashis appeard.
I smiled at Kakashi.
The men all started running away on to there boat.
Kakashi went to Zabuza and took out the swords sticking out of him.
He slowly picked him up and brought later him by Haku.
Snow started falling down.
'Is this Haku' I thought.
The sun shinned threw the clouds and almost blinded me.
"I win Haku" I whispered well tear came down my cheek.
A couple days later the bridge was finally finished.
The land of the waves was finally free of Gato and began a new start.
The bridge was named the great Naruto bridge.

This was probably the longest chapter I ever wrote win my life😂
I feel like I could've written it better so I'll probably make changes in the future.
Right now I'm just really excited to started writing the chunin exam arc.
Also happy September 1st, the day Gon, Killua, Leorio, and Kurapika met up in Yorknew.😊
