" They just opened about a hour ago , it's not that packed right now. It don't crack till around 7..we here early." Key said he pulled into this parking lot of this seafood place.
I had told him I was craving it and he insisted on taking me there.
" That's coo...Everything out here look so different." I said as I focused out his tinted windows seeing a small line formed for the restaurant.
Most likely take out orders.
" Duh , it ain't the city girl." He said chuckling as he leaned back up against his seat parking the car.
I smacked my lips and looked over at him giving him a look.
" And what's that suppose to mean ? " I asked giving him a slight smile.
" Shit just different from where you from lil mama. That's all." He chuckled licking his lips and focused up on me.
" Yea whatever , I like it though. " I said shrugging and crossed my legs leaning back against the seat.
" Why you choose Tennessee though , you could move anywhere else and you wanna come here ? " He said raising his eyebrows.
" Nah , my dad just passed and um he left the property and a little cash for me." I spoke up clearing my throat.
I had tried to not think about my dad passing while I was out here. But it was hard , everything I came in contact with had ties with him.
I wouldn't even be out here if it wasn't for him.
And I most definitely didn't expect to be sitting in this car telling Key about my situation either.
" I'm sorry about ya pops...but at least he set some shit up for you and wanted better for you. My parents did leave shit but a last name." He said shrugging his shoulder and started to play with his hands
" And I'm pretty sure your doing great without a hand. However you doing it you making that shit happen. So you solid." I spoke up before chewing down onto my bottom lip as I watched him for a minute.
He was so fine , it was just his confidence. Outta the three of them I met last night , I wasn't even reaching to catch no nigga but he just caught my attention.
It was just like his vibe attracted to mine and I was all about positive and having good energy around me. And it was nothing in my body telling me that he wouldn't bring any unwanted or negative energy around me.
" Yea I had to get up and make it happen. Being broke don't fit my lifestyle." He said chucking and I shook my head turning my body over towards him a little so I could face him.
