Person A is a robot/android of some kind. Everyday, they have to look over their memories and choose which ones to delete because their memory bank is limited. It gets harder to do, however, as they spend more and more time with Person B (or B, C, D+) and cherish more of their memories with them.
Bonus: Person B (or them and other/s) don't know about this. How do they find out? Does A mention it? Do they catch A doing it by accident? Do they notice A seemingly forgetting stuff? How do they fix it? An upgrade for A/modifications? Keeping a log or diary? Trying to find a backup to save their memories to?
