Y/Ns POV
I was taken away in an ambulance while Bucky was taken in this larger, military grade truck. We obviously got a police escort so we were going really fast.
"Can you tell me your name ma'am?' A EMT asked me.
"Y/N." I said, still very groggy.
"How far along are you?" She asked.
"Almost five months...how's my baby?"
"We'll know more when we get to the hospital." She said, which clearly meant there was a problem. I tried to calm my breathing but my tears got the best of me. Soon enough, we arrived, but I wasn't at the hospital. We were at some type of headquarters but the SWAT guys were still everywhere. I got wheeled away on my gurney but not before seeing Bucky locked in this glass cage like he was some sort of animal. It broke my heart.
"Why is Bucky in there?" I asked a nurse.
"James Barnes committed a dangerous felony and is now going in for questioning." She said.
"What...no he didn't! He was with me!" I said.
"Don't try to cover for him." The guards said as they walked besides my bed to handcuff me.
"What the fuck are you doing? I'm not covering for anyone! Get these off of me!" I pleaded. No one even bothered to look at me, I was just wheeled into a room.
BUCKY'S POV
I should have known this was going to happen. I should have just stayed inside my apartment that day she moved in. Now I'm locked up and she's god knows where. I looked to my left and saw Steve getting out of a van. He seemed like he didn't mean for it to happen but, how should I know? I just kept my head down as they took me in for questioning.
STEVES POV
When I got out of the van, I could see Bucky was clearly upset.
"Did he really get that girl pregnant?" Sam asked me.
"Seems like it." I said as we walked over to Sharon Carter.
"What's gonna happen to him?" I asked.
"Same thing that outta happen to you." Agent Ross started. "Psychological evaluation and extradition."
"This is Everett Ross. Deputy task force commander." Sharon introduced.
"What about a lawyer?" I asked.
"Lawyer, that's funny...see their weapons are in lock up. We'll write you a receipt." She said.
"I better not look out the window and see someone flying around in that." Sam said. We started to walk into an enclosed area, but I looked back at Bucky. He looked at and then down at the ground, accepting his fate. I knew this wasn't right.
"You'll be put in an office, instead of a cell. Do me a favor, stay in it." Agent Ross said.
"What about the girl?" I asked.
"She's being taken care of." Natasha said as she walked towards us. "For the record, this was what making things worse looks like." she added.
"He's alive." I responded.
"With a witness." she said.
"And baby Momma." Sam added. Sliding doors opened to reveal a high tech office in which, of course, Tony was occupying.
"Try not to break anything while we fix this." Nat said, walking over to Tony who was on the phone.
"Secretary Ross wants you both prosecuted. I had to give him something." Tony said.
