Three Months Contract (On hold for a while)

Chapter 4

"What do you mean that your mom wants to meet her future daughter-in-law?" I ask him and he facepalmed himself.

"She wants to meet the one who I was going to wed. Which is you if you remembered the talk we had in the morning?" he says and then added, "She wants to meet you today and she is excited to meet her future daughter-in-law."

"But, I didn't sign the contract yet. I thought that you wanted me to take some time, right?" I mockingly say to him.

He takes a sharp breath as if he is calming his mind and he said, "I know that but can't you just sign it already. Or can't you help me with this now and sign it later on."

His tone was telling me that he is really in need of me. I sighed in defense and said, "Fine! But now what should we do?"

"I think that you should stay at his place for today." Sahil said and he looked at Rashi, "We both will bring your bags to his house. Okay?"

I smiled at them telling them that I'm okay with this but in reality, I'm not at all okay with all of this. This is happening so fast and I can't even think about it properly at all. I mentally slapped myself for getting into this but now, I'll have to do what is best for me, best for us.

They all were talking about what to do next when I heard someone calling me. I looked at the person and I saw that Siddhanth whispered in my ears, "Are you scared?"

I slightly nod my head and he said, "Don't worry. Everything will be all right. I'll make sure that you'll not feel uncomfortable. Okay?"

I looked at him and I saw the Siddhanth, which I've never seen. In front of all of us, he was always like an angry young man who wants his employees to work properly. This side of Siddhanth is new for me. I know that he must be different when he is with his friends but in my whole life, I've never thought that The Siddhanth Sen will talk to me casually like he talks with his friends.

After planning on what to do when his mom met me, we all have decided to impress her in the first meet. Fortunately, as I already have two sarees with me. I know how to impress his mom. Actually, I never thought that I would impress a woman who I'll be lying to impress. Let's see what happens.

After planning and executing the plan we have decided that after two more hours we will leave for Siddhanth's apartment in the city. As Rashi and I came back to my cabin, I saw Michael waiting for me. He looks at me and then asked, "Where were you Avantika Ma'am?"

I glared at him and said, "Don't call me Ma'am Michael. You know that I don't like you to call me like that!"

He facepalmed himself and said, "I forgot. Sorry but as you are my boss in the office. I'll call you as Ma'am."

I nod my head and I said, "Fine, whatever you think. Okay."

He then looks at Rashi and asked, "So are we going to meet you in the future too?"

Rashi nods her head and she said, "Yeah. As long as I'm her friend. You'll be able to meet me."

He chuckles at her comment and said, "You are so funny. I like your attitude. I hope that Ms. Avantika was like you in this matter. She has always been a serious student from college time. No wonder she was the teacher's pet."

I glared at him and said, "I wasn't a teacher's pet!"

"That's what every teacher's pet says." He mocks me.

"First. I wasn't a teacher's pet, I was a class representative. Secondly, I always liked to help teachers as it made me happy. Okay!" I said.

He folds his hands on his chest and he said, "Look, I know that you were the brightest student in our college but everyone thought that because you helped teachers every time as you are their pet."
