Late night texts are always the best considering that they are always sent with deep passion. They always are deep in emotion or heart that is what makes late night texts and different. I have received multiple late-night texts from friends who have nothing to do or those who want to talk about things that they will not talk to others about.

I got one have sent these late-night texts to one person in particular DS. Not because he is easy to talk to but also, I feel as if I can talk to him without a worry in the world. DS has problems of his own, but he does not talk about them that much. Considering that he is a person who would rather listen to others instead of talking about his own problems.

It would start off with a simple conversation starter like "how was school" or "how was your day" Normally I would start off with "good and yours" or "didn't have a lot of homework but okay" Then it lead to things like gossip or what was going around at school. I honestly enjoyed these conversations because it was nice to talk to someone that late in the night.

With texting it also came with the addition of the DM'ing of stupid animal videos or funny videos. DS would normally dm me a video of whatever he could find on Instagram and send it to me. Mostly it would be cute animal videos that would light up your day or funny Tiktoks or memes that would either be dumb or silly.

Honestly, I appreciate DS doing these types of things. Without him I do not know how I would have coped with the problems that I am facing or with my day going to the dumps. That is why I feel as if he is my best friend.

Now and days since we are separated, I want to let him know that he is my best friend, but I don't know how I should ask him that in the future if we will stay friends. I fear that in the future he will forget about me and we will lose touch. That is my biggest fear going into the future.
