it's been a week since my first video. i've been consistently gaining followers from my weak attempts at comedy. i told myself i wasn't going to post consistently and that i wouldn't get addicted. but i was wrong.
i also connected my instagram to my tiktok, so i started gaining followers there too.
i've already started receiving hate comments though. waking up to dms telling you you're ugly or fat are not fun.
today i decided i'd dance for the first time. one of the biggest trends at the moment is a song with gibberish and then "she like boys and girls oh well that's ok to me"...or something like that at the end.
i wound up learning it through charli. angelica keeps telling me to dm her or something, but i'm nervous. i'm nervous that she won't see it and i'll look stupid, or she'll see it and think of me as nothing more than a friend.
so i film the video and @ her in the caption, along with the proper dance credits.
immediately, people point out the fact that i said "boys and girls". i've turned off my notifications for now. i knew people would go crazy for a little while and i didn't want to deal with homophobia.
