"How are you sure that it's the lost princess? She's supposed to be dead." Chenle doubted his blonde colleague.

"But the oracle said-"

Chenle rolled his eyes and sat on the couch of his bedroom. "The hell with the oracle. Did you even take your medicine today?" the demon highly doubted.

Jaemin rolled his eyes. "I'm high of human blood- anyways, why don't you use your Godly authority to talk to the Lord Hades himself. Your half-blood ri- ouch!" before the elder could even finish his sentence, Chenle had thrown him the nearest object he can grab which was an empty pencil case.

Chenle growled at Jaemin. His eyes glowing red as gold swirled around his iris once again creating a light orange hue. "Don't ever call me that again." he breathed harshly as he glared at the blonde latter. "I will never be what you call a half-blood." his nails digging crescents into his palm, his knuckles turning white.

The elder lifted himself off the bed and walked to the door but stopping midway to face the brown haired younger. "You know Chenle no matter how much you hate it- it will always be there. You can't take it out of your blood."

His jaw clenched as his veins glowed red and gold. "I didn't want to be born with it." the younger replied returning to his human form, eyes becoming dark brown

Jaemin finally made his way out of the bedroom and closes the door behind him.

The young man couldn't help but sigh. The words repeated in his head causing him to get in his closet to look at the mirror.

His eyes fixated on his reflection, his now dark brown pupils traveled from his red-brown hair and down to his facial features and to the mark that slightly peeked through the collar of his shirt. Pulling it down, it revealed the symbol of a lightning bolt and a sphere crossed together on his left chest. The black tinted symbol engraved on his skin boldly that it would glow when he used his power or when he transformed into his demon form.

Closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, his black wings appeared folded behind him as his fangs grew and poked out of his lips. Fluttering his eyes open, they glowed and so did his veins. Looking at his reflection in his demon form, he couldn't help but frown at the sight of him being surrounded in gold and the symbol marked on his skin that glowed elegantly on him.

Jaemin was right, he thought. No matter how much he denied it, it will always be in his blood. No matter how much blood he shed, it will always be a part of him.

Taking a deep breath as he turned away from the mirror, he transformed back in his human form, walking out of his closet and to his bedroom to look for the blonde latter.

Seeing him in the kitchen with the red-head, he walked to them and sat on the stool next to Jeno. "Jaemin." the younger called.

Jaemin turned around with a brow raised. "Changed your mind my dear?" a convincing smile pasted on the elder's lips.
