I backed up slowly. I couldn't even process what I just saw. My head was spinning with shock.

I rann back downstairs but my mom walked right through the door just as I was about to leave.

"Erykah baby what are you doing home from school so early?"

I was speechless. So many words I had in my head I couldn't make sentences with

"Chyna....brought me home Early during lunch. I wasn't feeling to good" I lied

"Well sweety why were you about to leave ?"

"I thought I heard someone knocking... Why are you home so early?"

"Nauseous..."

I completely forgot I was upset at my mother this morning for getting pregnant with that bastard upstairs that has a bitch in the bed as we speak.

"Mom you need to get rid of Patrick ASAP!" I told her.

"Here we go with this again. Look Erykah im not in the mood.  "

"He is cheating on you mama!!!"

She froze

"What?" She asked

"Hey babe your home early" Patrick came down the steps as if nothing never happened.

"What's wrong?" He asked

"No..no...how the..no!" I stormed up the stairs and the bedroom was completely clean!

"Son of a bitch!" I jabbed my fist into the wall.

Eden broke out crying

My mother and Patrick ran back up the stairs

"Dont touch me!" My mom tried to comfort me

"I'm out of here I can't do this anymore." I stormed out grabbing bags

If my mom is going to sit up here and choose this compulsive lieng son of a bitch then I can't take it no more.

"Erica where are you going ? What's wrong!" She asked following me down the stairs.

I slammed the door in her face and walked out the door.

I don't know where I was going but I knkwthat u was getting far away from here.

Hours passes and now it was pitch black dark.

I was so fucking mad I forgot that I had a car and it was no point of turning back around

I was exhausted and so hungry.

I heard a horn blew and turned to see Ariel in her moms truck .

"Where are you going Mrs.beauty?" She laughed while pulling up

"Nowhere, I'm just taking a walk" I said not looking at her

"Taking a walk? In the dark ? With a big ass backpack on you? "

"Yes that's what I'm doing"

"Erykah get in car"  she said playfully

"No I'm almost to my stop" I lied

"I thought you was just taking a walk?"

I stopped and looked at her sideways

I sighed and walked over to the side of the vehicle and hopped in.

As we pulled off I felt my phone ringing. I looked at the caller ID to see my mom blowing me up.

I slide the ignore button and put my phone on airplane mode
