Chapter 9 Initiation Finished

Perdita's POV

" you know what forget it!" i stood up and walked pass them to phyrra run out the forest"

"Perdita!Jaune!" she screamed while being chased by the Deathstalker and i kneel to open the case to find the clip stuck, great thank you karma

"did she just run all the way here with a Deathstalker on her tail?" the girl with black hair said

"Grr! I cant take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for 2 seconds before something crazy happens again?!" Yang burst out and 2 seconds pass and I still can't open my stupid case. Did her eyes just turn into red? Like how my eyes would change when I use my semblance?

"uhmm Yang... " Ruby said and we looked up to see Weiss hanging on a flying nevermore

"huh a Nevermore.. How nostalgic.. " I said and the others look at me weird

"how could you leave me!? " Weiss screamed

"I said jump" Ruby replied like it was simple then It was my turn to look at her weird

"she's gonna fall" the girl with a black hair said

"she'll be fine" Ruby said

"I'm not catching her I'm 14" I said and went back to open my stupid case

"she's falling" the guy with black hair said, and fall she did...not because Jaune catches her like he could use an Aura then Phyrra got flicked towards us by the Deathstalker

" Great the gangs all here, now we can die together" Yang said and I sweatdropped to what she said

"Not if i can help it!" Ruby said and ran head on to the Deathstalker for it to block her attack and throw her back "Don't.. don't worry.. Totally fine! " she said and looked at the deathstalker

"totally not fine" I said and my case finally opened then I forge my weapon into one "Ruby! " me and Yang screamed in unison I don't even know why I'm doing this

The nevermore that flew above us threw it's feathers and hearing it's loud scream caused my head to sting in pain blurring my sight, I felt someone held me close to the ground "Ruby get out of there! " it was Yang and I saw white pass us fast, before I knew it I was bought in a group hug?

"uh...uhmm.. " I said squirming my way out of the hug and Yang let go of us

"I'm just so happy you two are okay! " Yang said and which made me question why she care so much but decided not to cause it might go out as mean and would destroy my persona

"thanks....Yang... Now we should move" I said and stared at the Nevermore to which has became number 1 hated Grimm

"Uh guys.. That thing is circling right back at us! What are we gonna do!? " Jaune asked and I was about to tell him but Weiss beat me to it

"Look there's no point on dilly dallying..our objective is right in front of us! " Weiss said looking at the chess pieces or the relics

"She's right there's no point on fighting these things" Ruby says then her and Jaune went to take a relic

"Time we left" the guy with black hair said and so we did and ran to the southern side back to the cliff side

Then we arrive just near the cliff on a castle like ruins and heard the Nevermore flying above us then I hid with Ruby and Yang since they were the closest "wow! you have a scythe too?! And two of them!? " Ruby said and I sighed

"Now's not the time crater girl" I said and Yang stops herself from laughing then the Deathstalker barge from the forest blocking our back

"oh man.. Run!! " Jaune said and I run to the Deathstalker holding my scythes by the trigger and shoot it slowing it down to make the others run for the stone bridge

"Nora distract it" The guy with black hair told the ginger haired girl who uses her grenade launcher and I back up a bit because of the Deathstalker slowly coming near then Weiss used her glimpse to get Nora then the black haired guy and girl attacked its clippers giving us a chance to speed off

"Go! go! " Phyrra told them and shifts her spear into a shotgun and me and the black haired guy shoots at it to give the black haired girl time to run and we get near pass the bridge the Nevermore flew breaking it separating a few of us

Me and and the black haired guy run to slash it after the black haired girl got knocked back and I forged my weapon into a double scythe but was occupied on the opposite clipper since Phyrra was shooting its face

Three explosions were heard and Jaune was on our side then Nora hammered its head then I jumped on the Grimm as it moves to sting Nora to which she backs with her grenade hammer like weapon

"Perdita" I heard Jaune call me but I lack an opening while I dodge the stinger that destroyed the bottom of their bridge then Phyrra and Jaune shields away it's clippers while the black haired guy shoot the stinger

I balanced myself on the Grimm then splits my scythe and jumped to slice it's stinger down to its head and shoots myself away to which I accidentally smacked myself on a pillar. Again. Why didn't I use my semblence? stupid self

"Nora nail it! " Jaune told her then she jumped on Phyrra's shield then shoots herself up and nails the stinger on the deathstalker's head throwing the Three on my side following Nora and we watch as Ruby,Weiss,Yang, and the black haired girl attack the nevermore

"This is for my sister!" I heard Yang say while shooting it's innards while being on the beak, making me wonder what did the Nevermore do to Ruby making her that mad

Soon Weiss trapped the Nevermore and backed to the rope and slingged Ruby to the Grimm while also summoning speed glyphs for Ruby to shoot herself up and sliced the Nevermore's head after reaching the top. Quite jealous tho it wasnt as flashy as ours

"You alright?" the black hair guy asked me while offering his hand with the ginger haired girl to which i took and they boost me up. Geez they're so tall...

"..yeah thanks" I said while rubbing my back to which I know will leave a mark because of the magnet strap and I sticked my Scythes back after clenching the back of it making the weapon fold a bit

"Sooooo I'm Nora! And this is Ren! " Nora said and I smiled

"Perdita.. "

...Time Skip...

"Russel Thrush, Cardin Winchester, Dove Bronzewing, and Sky Lock. The four of you retrieved the black Bishop pieces, from this day forward you will work together as team CRDL led by.. Cardin Winchester" Ozpin announces and the people claps. Oh the bully is a leader with the tamohawk guy on his team... Perfect buddies stick together I guess

"Jaune Arc, Phyrra Nikos, Lie Ren, Nora Valkyrie, and Perdita Black. You five retrieved the white rook while Perdita Black found the first pair with yours. From this day forward you will work together as team JNPPR..Led.. Jaune Arc" Ozpin say and I look at them smiling widely but soon turning it into a normal smile after reminding myself... This is a task that in told to stay low and I shouldn't get myself too attached to these people, Emotions would only get in the way...

Phyrra punched Jaune and he out balanced himself making the crowd laugh and Phyrra to nervously smile then I helped Jaune up for the last team to be announced, team RWBY with Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna,and Yang Xiao Long.

Hearing the siblings last names...made my head hurt I'll have to call big bro if he knows anything, it's starting to get weird
