"Ma.."  a child who's sitting on her mother's lap called

"Yes dear? " the mother with black hair and red ends and silver eyes replied

"what's it like on your work? I went with dad on his work yesterday and I learned alot of numbers! Numbers are so fun! Can I come with you next time?" the child said making the mother smile

"well Mama's work is really difficult at the moment so.. Maybe when your older..." The mother replies slightly anxious knowing the danger of the world which causes the child to pout in disappointment and the mother laughs at this then pinches her daughter's cheeks

"but I've been with Dad on his work and its so boooooringgg" the child said earning a sulking aura from her Father was training her sisters who giggled

"well I don't want you to rush things too much there's so much more you can do..." the mother said patting the child in the head

"only you will know on who you'll become... "

Perdita's POV

I jolt awake from my nap because of the alarm of my scroll, I sat up placing a hand on my head wondering on what the dream was

On the dream everything was blurry and I couldn't picture the faces of the people on it. I got out of my thoughts  when Nora tackled me in a hug to which I smiled

"it's Tiiimmmme to get ready! It's gonna be so much fun! Imagine what food will be there! " Nora said and I giggled

"Nora I think we should watch over you so you wont eat everything" I said then Ren volunteered on doing so. I looked at my dress hanged on our cabinet. Emerald must have sent it

After I got ready for the party I told Nora that I would go ahead since she's helping Phyrra who till now feels down. It was because she wanted to be the one that was asked by Jaune to the party

Jaune came back earlier also felt down and we didn't bother to ask since we knew what. I went to meet up with Cinder since she called for me

"Yes ma'am? " I asked after I was let in and facing Cinder preparing

"Perdita where were you from..?" she asked me to which made me confused

"I... Don't think I understand the question..." I said and she stood up then I sensed Emerald and Mercury their back on the door

"if you were to choose who would you side on..Your Family? Or your brother?" she asked and I finally got the question and I looked at her with a straight face

"with my brother.. I have no reason to side with my family the people that didn't exist in all my life, if they were still alive till now.. I would still continue to side with Mercury.. "I said thinking back of those horrible nights that our Father would beat me up and say that my family will never save me.
