Maddie was scared of Amelie, for taking her away from her safe place.
As her smallness faded away, Maddie realised how crazy this was. She was enjoying being a baby.
Amelie ran a hand smoothly down Maddie's cheek, trailing down her neck and lingering on warm skin. Maddie whimpered, terrified. This touch didn't feel good. It felt like a warning.
"How about some fun, baby girl?"
Maddie pulled a face and struggled to get out of Amelie's grip. All she wanted was to be back with Momma and have a fluffy blanket to snuggle.
Maddie ran from the room, her diaper sagging below her.
"Baby!"
Ignoring the calling from behind her, Maddie ran to Momma.
"Oh poppet, what happened?"
Momma wiped the tears from Maddie's cheeks and shushed her gently.Maddie felt herself floating into littlespace, and her eyes fluttered half-closed. Momma rubbed circles on her tummy.
"That's my good girl."
Maddie slipped a thumb into her mouth and sucked, soothed by her regression.
