Vanitas x Reader

"...Your face!" Sora states in shock upon seeing Vanitas now revealed face.

"I'm the piece of Ventus that was taken away, and you are the piece Ventus needed to be whole again. So, why don't you and I look exactly the same?" Vanitas pointed to Sora.

Not yet.

Not now!

C'mon feet run faster!

Today was the day when Xehanort will finally open Kingdom Hearts. We are now fighting with Sora and company. Which side are you on? The side with Vanitas on it.

"That what you are is darkness?!" Ventus asked Vanitas in frustration and anger.

"What I am is darkness..." His other half answered in reply.

Vanitas cant die today!

I'll make sure that he wont!

"Okay..."

"How is that okay?! Vanitas?!"

The half-masked boy looked towards the sky, but before he could grin, a loud cry stopped him from doing so.

"Vanitas!" You ran past Sora and Ven, earning a surprised look from the two. You immediately ran towards Vanitas and hugged him tightly.

"...(Y/N)" The noir haired boy mumbled as you still continued to trap him within your tight embrace.

"You promised! You said that you wont die today!" You screamed in fear and continued to tightly embrace the masked boy.

"(Y/N), I-"

"I don't want to hear it! Don't tell me why this has to happen!" You faced him, still hugging him so. "You promised that you'll stay alive today!"

"Ven, do you know her?" Sora quietly asked the blonde, who was intently watching the scene unfolding between Vanitas and (Y/N).

"(Y/N), once a student of Master Eraques with me, Terra and Aqua. But she disappeared one day, and reappeared when I went to Neverland years ago. But when I found her, she was not on our side." The blonde answered calmly.

"Vanitas...you said that once this is all over, you'd give me something that would change my life entirely." You never let your embrace escape him as you continued to speak. "You promised that we both will see the day again!"

"Well then, you are an idiot for believing that lie!" Vanitas tried to shove you off of him, but you stuck to him like glue.

You didn't answer but sobbed like crazy.

"You idiot-" The noir patted your head, ever so gently. "You huge big idiot. We both knew that either one of us is not going to be around to see tomorrow, so quit sobbing there." His voice sounded like he was about to break as well. 

Dark shadows emerged from his body, signaling that it was his time to go. "(Y/N),  c'mon let go. I have to go now." 

"NO! NO! NO!" You cried out like a baby trying to convince her mom to buy candy. "If you are going to go, then I'm going with you!" 

"Stop acting like this, (Y/N)!" Vanitas finally managed to pull you away from him. He held both your arms, while you are still staring at the ground, your tears glimmering as they make their way down.
