Some days are harder than others,
Sometimes the voice in your heart,
and the voice in your head seems to get louder.
The kids at school never shut up,
The teachers no longer care,
and your parents think that you are wasting your time.
Your grades continue to drop,
and they begin to shout,
Shout louder then ever.
"You don't try hard enough" "You don't take things seriously" "What are you doing with your life?" "Obviously your not trying hard enough"
But little do they know,
You work harder and harder,
until you can no longer see,
to your eyes hurt,
til your ears are ringing.
But hey you never try hard enough,
and all you do is muck around.
But what do they know,
They are never there when you need them,
They never care,
They don't even ask about you day.
They seem to realise that things have changed,
It has been decades since they have been at school,
Things do change overtime.
The way people act change,
The topics talked about have changes,
The things they teach have changed.
But hey they went to school 30 years ago and they know everything,
They have been the work force and they know how the real life works,
But do they really know what goes on in the places called school.
They don't know as much as they say,
They may have real life advice
But they don't what we are going through,
They don't know what is going down inside our heads,
and they never will.
Lucky they are to blind to see behind the mask,
To blind to see our troubles,
and our pain.
One day they might,
But until that day I will wait in silence.
Maybe then it will be more obivous.
But they never really cared did they?
Why am I not surprised?
They never change.
We can only hope,
That maybe one day they will see again,
