A Smashing Adventure!! - SSB x Reader

Chapter 5 - I'm really feeling it!

*whispers* Now it's Shulk time...
(Please tell me you get this joke/pun or I'll cry in shame)

Cursing up ahead (Don't worry not a lot)

"There's a match that's going to happen. Want to go watch it?" Asked Zelda to you and Lucina.

"Um sure sounds fun." you answered.

"Okay, let's go!" Zelda started walking. You of course followed her along with Lucina.

The three of you arrived at a stadium. There were so many people that wanted to watch this brawl.

You all sat down at a random seat and the marvelous voice of the announcer came on.

"5... 4... 3... 2... 1... Go!" you saw the brawlers that were going to fight.

It was a 3-player smash. There was Ness, Zero Suit Samus and Shulk.

Shulk was the one that caught your attention. Good thing you did your 'Stalking People that are Fictional research' on Shulk.

You found out that he's from a game called Xenoblade Chronicles.

You don't know much more but all you know that he likes to say-

"I'm really feeling it!"

Yeah that. You saw that Ness on the platform thing that brings you back to the fight when you 'die'.

Zero Suit Samus went over to Shulk and used a smash attack with her laser whip thing... at Shulk.

Shulk let out a cry of pain. He was now on the platform thing.

"He really felt that..." you whispered out loud without thinking. You heard Zelda snicker at your joke.

Lucina didn't even made a single noise. Probably because she didn't hear or her lack of sense of humour.

The timer was ticking and the announcer yet again used his marvelous voice.

"5... 4... 3... 2... 1... Time!"

Just as you were expecting to see who the winner was. There was a Sudden Death.

'I hate these...' It was a match between Shulk and Ness.

You were cheering for Shulk for some reason, but also for Ness too. You put both of your hands to your face. You just didn't want to see because of how suspenseful this is.

"Time!" said the announcer once again. You moved one of your fingers to slightly see who won.

The winner was Shulk.

'Holy shit man. I didn't even see what happened but that was intense!'

"Whew... That was a close one." Said Zelda. She had one of her hands on her chest as a gesture of relief. "Hey let's congratulate Shulk for his victory."

"Okay." The three of you got off of your seats. It was a few minute walk and all of you ended up in the same room that you met Palutena in (That's if you choose the Pit one in the previous chapter).

"Hey Shulk!" Zelda called out to him. "Oh hello Zelda." Shulk replied back.

There he is! The meme himself!

"Congratulations on your victory." Said Lucina.

"Thank you."

"Oh Shulk, meet _____." Zelda turned towards you. "Hello _____. It's a pleasure to meet you." said Shulk.

"Pleasure to meet you too"

"So are you a newcomer like me or something?" He asked. You rapidly shook your head. Boy if you were you would've get your ass.

"I'm just here to help around." You simply replied not going into further details like how you're from a 'different world'.

Now that you mention it. You have never said anything about you coming from a 'different world'. Well you're just going to keep that a secret for now.

"Well I'll be going now." said Shulk. "I'll see you guys later."

"See you later." Lucina replied.

Shulk started walking towards a direction to wherever he's going. You turned around towards the direction where Shulk came from.

There you saw the other brawlers. Zelda walked over towards Ness and (Zero Suit) Samus went towards Lucina.

You decided to go over to Zelda. Besides you would rather meet Ness than Samus.

She's kind of intimidating... For you that is!

"Oh ____!" Zelda noticed you. She was standing in front of Ness whiling facing towards you.

"Oh Ness meet _____! And _____ meet Ness!" said Zelda.

"Hi Ness nice to meet you." you said to Ness. "It's nice to meet you too _____!" he replied.

'Awww... He's so adorable.'

"That was a great brawl!" you said absentmindedly.

"Thanks, even though I didn't win." Ness replied meekly as he put one of his hand on the back of his neck.

He didn't really sound unhappy about the result.

Must of been because he's one of those character that's been in every Super Smash Bros. game.

"Don't worry! There's always a next time!" you don't know why you were comforting him. But you just did so it doesn't matter.

"Yeah your right!"

Looks like you made yourself an another friend!

Sorry for the slow update... I must've taken 6 days... But I wrote the chapter! So it doesn't matter! I just hope it wasn't bad...

Slow updates are probably gonna start soon but I'll try to write a chapter for you guys! Since slow updates are probably going to start, that means I'm not going to take requests... :( I'm so sorry!
