"guys I don't think I can go to school today I'm super busy with filling out my internship, can you tell sensei that I can't come thank you" Kaori sighed on the phone call with y/n and Yukie.
"take your time I think you'll be okay we'll tell sensei" Yukie told kaori on the phone while y/n had it on loud speaker.
*end call*
"she must have been in such a hurry to even forget to say bye" y/n commented after kaori ended the call."she's been stressed out with filling these papers. she's lucky to have found an internship so quickly too" Yukie said in a worrying tone. "mhmm I guess so
During a practice:
"Hey y/n remember when you told us you liked the student council president" Yukie commented while y/n was helping out fill the waterbottles for the team since kaori was absent for the day since she needed to fill up forms for her internship in a sport company.(spoilers:she became a sport company employee) "well, to be honest I'm not really close to him or anything and I just admire him for his hardwork and our families are pretty close so that should explain why we seem close but we're just acquaintances" y/n said as she filled up another bottle of water.
"Hmmmm...I guess those weird rumors spreading about you dating him is a lie then..."Yukie lowered her voice as to best no one heard their conversation "ehhh we had a rumor about each other- that's not surprising at all but he and I are just acquaintances. I'm not much on love anyways like you always get hurt by it one way or another"y/n said remembering her past. Yukie just looked at her shocked remembering y/n's past. "you really need to start doing something about that...do wanna play volleyball today you seem to enjoy having fun with konoha alot" Yukie told y/n
"...sto...p" y/n blushed mumbling her words remembering lunch time as she poked konoha's nose. "but...I guess I will... shouldn't I enjoy while I still can"y/n smiled and went on her way with Yukie to the gym.
The moment y/n slid the door to the side something or someone closed it as so fast y/n's fingers got stuck thank god it wasn't that hard. "OW..." y/n scrunched down to the floor silently and stayed there for a while till Yukie realized what had happen and opened the door again and asked for help to the bottles that slowly fell to the floor,y/n was still scrunched up in the floor. konoha noticed them first and rushed to help y/n and got all the bottles. "are you okay?" konoha looked at y/n with concerned eyes as he went down to her level. "I'm okay...." y/n slowly got up and hid her fingers " you sure? you're okay?" konoha noticed her hiding her fingers before she could reply " your hurt...let's go to the nurses office it should still be open now" as he grasped her wrist. "coach y/n's injured I'll come back when I bring her to the office" "sure thing make sure she's okay" Yukie was really concerned but she needed to know why the door shut so suddenly and she had to attend to her manager duties.
"w-wait konoha I think I'm okay I mean it wasn't that hard anyways" y/n smiled "even if you're okay we need to check on you" konoha insisted as they were near the nurses office. "I- but....alright..." y/n went along I mean it really did hurt a lot but it would be okay after some rest.
"miss, y/n hurt her fingers will she be alright?" konoha asked in a concerned voice. "she'll be okay after some rest but she won't be able to use them for writing or any activity but the the resting period she'll be alright she'll be able to do activities but she can't do heavy duty things like carrying heavy things" the nurse said " how long will I not be able to use them? and the resting period too?" y/n asked " estimated after 2 weeks you'll not be able to us them and 1 week for the resting period no heavy duty activities" the nursed looked at y/n "how did this happen anyways?" konoha looked away feeling guilty " there were a lot of volleyballs rolling away since the basket in the gym fell down and the coach told me to close the door I didn't know she was there" y/n and the nurse was surprised. "ohhhh so that's what happened...pfft that's alright konoha I mean you didn't know that I was there." y/n found it silly he felt guilty and did that much to even bring her to the office and waited for her instead of just leaving her there.
The next few days konoha helps y/n around with the school works and the biggest problem has yet to come.
10 days till the school festival:
The day was bright and sunny. y/n entered her classroom with Yukie and Kaori."how was the interview?" Yukie said as she slid the doors open to go in the classroom. "pretty rough, it was hard convincing them since I'm only a manager but they said if I can manage so obviously I excitedly said 'tHanK y0u I'll mAnaGe' and I messed up so bad when I had so much voice cracks in 1 sentence" Kaori sighed as she brought down her bag and prepared her books."sounds rough but at least you're in and moving I haven't done much yet for internship considering how most jobs need experience before entering the field but so far I'm doing gReAt"y/n said in a smile that looked awfully forced. "pfft-" "pfft-y/n" the 2 other girls bursted out laughing at y/n's expression as they could see the weird-looking face on y/n. they started school with glee.(if only I could be this excited and hyped up for school HAHAHA)
"Good Morning students" sensei slid the door open as the students ran back to they're seats. "today we will be having a countdown till our last school festival" students started murmuring around and whispers could be heard about little projects they plan on suggesting."the student council and class presidents will be helping us out in this project let us hope that our last school festival turns out great." sensei stated as she starts the class.
During lunch:
"y/n...how will you help with you're injury especially how it's in your right hand?" kaori looked at y/n while eating her bento box she prepared. "I'll manage I'll try announcing what we need to do for the festival later" y/n ate her bento as she looked quite-worried but she knows she'll be fine everything will go smooth sailing since she knows she's pretty clumsy she did fall down once just walking.
Back to class:
"we'll be deciding what we will do this school festival" y/n stated as they were giving out suggestions. "we could do a anime cafe" "we could do a movie stargazing" "we could do a food competition" "what about a horror film cosplay" everyone started suggesting. " please write down you're suggestions and I've receive suggestions already from some students so far I see a lot of movie and stargazing themed cafe. that will be all today :))" y/n smiled before going back to her seat.
