Bonnie arrived at her working place barely on time and still tired. She owned a Café, together with her co-owner Lexi Branson. They had had their little Café for a few years now. But, due to Bonnie's second baby soon to be born, they decided to hire another co-worker. And today, this new co-worker would start her first day.

Lexi was already there and greeted Bonnie with an enthusiastic hug.
"Hi! How are you? Did you check out our new partner's application again?"

"Not really, no. But I know the basics. Camille O'Connell, 33 years old. From Texas." she replied, "And to answer your other question, I am actually pretty tired. Pregnant and a 4-year-old kid at home doesn't really say 'you get much rest'."

Lexi nodded understandingly. "Yeah, I can imagine. But cheer up, you'll only be working till 12 am today. Camille will help me through the rest of the day and you will have time to relax a little."

Bonnie smiled.
"Thank you! Now, when does Camille O'Connell arrive?" she asked.
Lexi grinned. "Funny you should ask; she is already here. Since I already prepared everything before you two came in, there is nothing much to do for either of you right now. So I thought, why don't we sit down in the kitchen and habe a coffee together?"

"Well, in my case that would be tea rather than coffee, since  you know, pregnant and all. But yeah, that would be great."

The two women went into their kitchen. There, on a stool, sat a pretty blonde woman with a greeting smile lightening up her face as Bonnie and Lexi came in. She got up and looked at Bonnie as she walked up to her.
"Hi. I am Camille. But please, call me Cami."

"Hi Cami

"Hi Cami. I'm Bonnie. I hope you will like it here." Bonnie responded returning the smile. There was somthing clouding Camille's eyes, she thought, something, that pained her. As if she recently had experienced great tragedy. Bonnie felt sympathy for her, but she didn't want to pressure Cami into telling her what had happened to her, not yet anyway. She only made a mental note to herself to ask her eventually, if she was to stay.

Later that day, Bonenzo house

Bonnie arrived home after work at the Café. Camille, as it turned out, was a natural with customers and had no trouble with any of the equipment. She made work so much easier for them; Lexi and her agreed to keep her instantly.

"Mommy!" an exited vioce squeeled. It belonged to a little boy with dark hair and a cute smile an his face. He now came running into his mother's embrace.
"Hi sweetheart!" Bonnie kissed her son on the head lovingly. "Aren't you cheerful today?! And is Aunt Elena already here too?"
Jesse nodded eagerly.

Bonnie took him by the hand and led him to the living room. Elena was standing there, preparing a board game for little children. Next to her sat a 9-year-old girl at the table with dark hair and a sulking expression on her face.
"Why do we have to play that? It's so boring! I am too old for so easy games." the girl whined.
