Real meaning of equality

SO WHAT?

So what if I'm a guy?
So what if I'm not into fights?
Is it wrong if I like Pink?
Truth is, I'm afraid to cry
as my world revolves around
"What will people think?"

Don't cry like a girl?
Are you fragile like a girl?
I thought you were muscular
Seems like you're terrified like a girl.

Creepy eyes never see
the gender of the person
they don't even think twice
before harassing them.

Assaults and harassment
doesn't only happen with girls
We need to open our mind and heart
We need to protect every gender in this world.

So what if I'm a girl?
Don't go alone after 8 pm, someone said...
Teach your sons
the real meaning of Protection,
No! we don't need Protection
because I'm afraid. 
I'm capable enough
to carry my own heavy stuff
"Help her to carry those things,
Come on! she's a girl after all"
Don't exclaim a statement like this.

Responsibilities of a family should
be shared among every gender
Everyone's strong enough
to handle a work this tough...
We need to understand the real
meaning of equality
Which's a necessity in this world.

Others? Really
That's all I'm?
I have no right to say who I am?
If I say it out loud?
Would you think that it's a shame?
Prejudice minds think I'm different...
Why don't you allow me to take the lead and stand at the front?

Am I not allowed to love?
To fall for someone?
Am I gonna be judged
for this as well?
Do I deserve to always stay alone?

Doesn't matter who you are
Doesn't matter where you come from
If you wanna talk about equality
Please don't bound it
with only "equality for girls"
The real meaning of equality would be shown when we'll take a stand for
every gender in this world.
