Is it just coincidence? [Tewksbury & Reader]

Chapter 5 : First kiss

"I don't know!" I said while searching for any potential danger near us 

"first let's find a place to stay where no one can harm us" he said while staring at my eyes deeply

"yeah, but we need to start working too, our money is getting over" I replied counting the cash I had

 "lets go to our previous lodging and get our stuff from there" He said while carrying the clothes we had worn before.

"yea- ahh" I said as I  twisted my ankle 

"are you ok?" he asked concerned 

"I think I twisted my ankle" I said while rubbing my leg

"oh, can you walk?" he said as he could see people searching for us

"I guess" I said while attempting to walk  

"don't walk" he said while carrying me on his back 

"what are you doing!? let me down!" I protested as I hit his back

"Can you stop fidgeting, you are just making this harder" he replied clearly annoyed with my behavior 

"hmmp, whatever" I said as there was no better idea

Tewksbury's POV 

'aww she is soo cute, I wish I could just hug her forever' I thought while blushing 

"get down slowly on the bed" I said to her 

"oh ok" she replied while slowly lowering her legs

"wait here, don't move" I said while i went to take the medical kit kept in my bag 

Reader's POV 

'I have never seen this caring and sweet side of tewksbury' I thought while blushing. After a few minutes he came back with the bandages and painkiller. He held my ankle so tenderly which brought shivers down my spine. After a while he had finished aiding my sprain. 

"We have to find a job you know" I said breaking the silence 

"yeah, I have made a list of all the places trying to hire new workers" he said while handing the list to me.

"I must say I'm impressed" I said while reading all the places

"thank you very much m'lady. I am very honored" he said in joking manner and layed on the bed next to me

"Can I ask you something?" he said while breaking the silence. I hmm'd in response 

"I need you to promise that you'll hold my hand whenever I'm scared" he said while staring deeply into my eyes

"yeah ok" I said, After awhile I could feel him holding my hand, I looked around confused.

 "what are you afraid of?" I asked him 

"I'm afraid that if I let your hand go you will disappear and I can never meet you again" he said while staring at my lips. Suddenly I could feel him kissing me while cupping my face with his hands. I gasped at his sudden action but later moved my hands through his hair. 

"BANG BANG!" we heard the sound from the door as we broke the kiss and stood cautiously.
