When the time came to advance through to the second floor, two weeks later, I was now Level 34, probably the highest level player out of the whole mass of players trapped in here. Crawford was sitting at Level 22 and by now had become the second in command of the group. It was now that a meeting had been called by someone named Diavel, saying he had information about where the First Floor Boss was, which up to this point, no one had any idea where the boss was. The others had wanted to go, but I only decided to take Crawford and Brandon with me, since aside from Crawford, Brandon was a level under him, at Level 21. I don't know why, but Koharu, Alexis, Isabella, and Elizabeth all looked jealous that they weren't going with me for some reason. But that didn't matter currently, as we were here to defeat the First Floor Boss and restore some hope to everybody. The three of us piled in, and sat next to a black haired boy and a girl that had a cloak on, concealing her identity.

After a while, a blue haired dude walked onto the stage and cleared his throat.

"I'm guessing this is Diavel" Brandon whispered. "Yeah, I think so" I replied as Diavel started talking. "Hello, and thank you for coming to this meeting. I am Diavel, and my job in this game is.. Knight!" This caused a burst of laughter to come out from a lot of people, including the three of us. "There's no job system in this game, dude!" yelled out a person closer to Diavel than we were. "His job is Knight.." chuckled Brandon. "Oh, that is amazing." Diavel cleared his throat and spoke again. "Do you want to hear about what I have to say or not?" This got us all quiet again. "Okay, so our party found the Boss' room at the top of the tower.."he started and went on while I tuned him out to process this. Top of the Tower, I thought. Interesting..
An angry voice shook me out of my thoughts and brought me back to earth. "Now, hold on just a second!"

"Who invited him?" Crawford said to me, as the angry dude mounted the stage. Anyway, the man introduced himself as Kibaou and then began to rant about the beta testers. I just tuned him out, because if he wants to rant them out, go right ahead. I mean, better them than the dude who carries the sword containing a Demon Lord's spirit over here. The only thing that stopped him was an enormous rock of a player that mounted the stage a bit later.

Honestly, even with my demon sword, I felt small compared to him. This guy, who introduced himself as Agil, defended the Beta Testers, much to my dismay. I mean, I didn't have anything against the Beta Testers, but honestly, few would probably question how, and I have checked, no joke, how an American is currently sitting in the Number 1 Spot for Players with the Highest Level. So, this was in every respect, a bit of an upset for me. But, I wasn't showing it.
