Chris's pov

*Three hours later*

Y/n was drunk, holding a red solo cup in her hand, causing problems.

Honestly I didn't have anything to drink, I'm the designated driver.

She was pressed up against another guy, flirting with him.

I went up to her and I pulled her away from him.

"Come one y/n, time to go."

"What? Okay, jeez." She said, and I took her cup from her, putting it down on a table.

I took her outside and I said "Let's get you some water."

"I don't want water." She said, almost falling down.

I held her up and she giggled softly.

"What's so funny?" I asked.

"You're so cute." She said, making me freeze in my tracts.

"You have a boyfriend."

"Doesn't mean I can't call you cute."

"Well, you're right but that's not okay." I said.

Then she kissed my lips.

I suddenly pulled away, taken aback at what she just did.

She giggled.

"Why do you look so surprised? That was a long time coming."

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah, honestly I don't even know why I'm dating Hunter when I want to be with you." She giggled.

I continued walking to my car with her arm on my shoulder.

"Chris I love you so much, you're so sweet, Hunters such an asshole, he forgot to get me a gift for my birthday."

Ugh, jerk.

"But you didn't, and I appreciate you for that."

"You're welcome." I said, opening the passenger door and setting her inside.

I closed her door and I walked around to the drivers side, I got in and I looked at her.

Did she mean everything she said?

Or did she just say that because she's drunk?

I put the key in the ignition and I drove off back to her house.

"Hey Chris thanks for tonight, I just needed an excuse to be away from Hunter." She said, softly patting my arm.

"Oh, no problem."

She smiled at me before getting out of the car.

I also got out to help her.

I put her arm on my shoulder and I walked her to the door.

She giggled drunkenly as she almost stumbled over.

"Hey no falling." I said, holding her up.

I knocked on the door and her brother opened the door.

"How drunk is she?" He asked softly.

"I have no idea." I chuckled.

"Alright, time to get you to bed." He said as she stumbled inside.

"Hey dude, she'll see you Monday." He said then he took her up to her room.

"Goodnight guys." I said and her brother gave me a slight nod.

I closed the door and I went back to my car, getting inside and driving home.

I kept thinking about what y/n said, then it was until after that I realized that her words lingered in my mind.

I sighed softly as I pulled into my driveway, parking the car and grabbing my keys as I got out, I locked my car as I went inside.

No matter what I could do, I couldn't forget what she said.

"You're so cute."

"I don't even know why I'm with Hunter when I want to be with you."

I smiled softly.

I laid down on my bed, and I promptly fell asleep.
