two days later
Y/N'S POV
the first thing i did when i woke up was check my emails, and my eyes widened at the new unopened email in my inbox...
"hello, this is JYP entertainment
we are happy to inform you that you have been hired as the new make up artist for group stray kids. you will be starting on the next following week. we look forward to seeing you."
i'll surprise them next week! i was so excited and i told my mom about it but not to mention it to anyone else, which she agreed to do for me.
one week later
i was so nervous for today, my first day of work and i'll be doing makeup for stray kids' b-side track video filming. this is crazy...
i showed up early and got showed around the building by my new coworker. we got along well and soon enough it was time to head to the shooting set.
more and more butterflies built up as we got nearer, i hope they're happy to see me...
we arrived earlier than stray kids because we had to organise everything we needed for what we were doing. i was told i would be doing chris and jisung's makeup for today. i was so excited and i hope they like my work
i heard them arrive and i felt sick to my stomach as the door opened and i exchanged shocked looks with stray kids.
"y/n, what are you doing here?" felix asked with a furrowed brow
"i got hired as your new makeup artist?" i said quietly, i saw everyone smile and congratulate me except one person
"why didn't you tell me?" felix said, with a blank expression, all eyes were on us
"because i was scared of telling you guys that i was rejected" i answered nervously, i've never seen him like this
"i didn't think you'd keep secrets from me" he said and looked annoyed, annoying me too
"you've kept bigger secrets than a job application" i said quickly, realising what this could have done as soon as i was done talking
"that was an unfair comparison and you know it y/n" he spat angrily, a slight growl in his voice, walking out quickly and leaving me in shock, there was a long silence after the door slammed behind him
"it's okay, you can do our makeup, congratulations on the job!" jeongin said, breaking the silence, and i smiled
"thank you" i said holding back tears, "i don't mind who first but i'm here to do chris and jisung's makeup" i said, trying to be professional even though i was really hurting
