You were sitting in the kitchen, writing a letter to your parents...you knew staying away from them would protect them especially with your due date approaching, but you missed them so much. All the sudden you felt a strong pain in your abdomen "woah" you leaned over a bit breathing through the pain. "YN...are you alright?" Bella asked holding you up, "I--I don't know" you said, feeling another cramp like pain. "Carlisle!" Edward yelled. "Y/N!" Carlisle shouted running over to you, you felt a gush of liquid run down your legs as an even stronger cramp shot through you. "oh my god" you heard Bella mumur as you doubled over, "We need to get her to my office, NOW!" Carlisle yelled picking you up bridal style you kept feeling contractions every 2 minutes and they kept getting more and more painful. You winced as Carlisle set you down on a trolly, "Okay I don't have epidurals on me right now, but I can give you a basic morphine injection that will ease a lot of your pain" Carlisle said looking down at you "Okay, okay yeah do whatever you need to do" you replied closing your eyes and taking deep breaths. You felt a pinch from the injection and groaned, it hurt for a second but then the pain you were feeling eased up after a few moments. though the contractions were still strong you began feeling a bit better

After 48 hours of contractions, pushing, and being put on an oxygen tank, your baby girl was born

(If you are Asian, a POC, or any other race besides Caucasian look at the baby as resembling you a little more, I just tried to find one that somewhat resembled Jacob, ik this baby really doesnt but I did my best🤣 ) You held your baby as you were stitched up, and Jacob was standing next to you putting a hand on your shoulder. " what would you like to name her?" Carlisle asked, you smiled and replied " I was thinking Maia, it's from maori, it means brave warrior". Jacob nodded approvingly and smiled "Maia it is" Carlisle replied leaving the room. "Congrats you guys!" Bella exclaimed carrying Renesmee out of the room. Jacob cradled Maia and you sighed thinking about the Volturi, the day a woman's child is born is supposed to be the happiest day of her life, but with you it just brought feelings of uncertainty.
