The time has come to defend the monastery from the imperial army. "You must escape so the twins will be born in a safe place.", Dimitri tells Byleth because she is expecting a boy and a girl. "All right.", she agrees. Byleth then escapes from the monastery. Seven months after she escaped from the monastery, on November 12th, the twins were born. She names them Andrew and Sarah. Four days later, Byleth was given shelter, so she settled down in House Blaiddyd. She later introduced Andrew and Sarah to their grandfather on their father's side. Four more days later, she introduced them to their grandfather, great uncle and uncles on her side.
