Eventually, they all got out of the pool. But they had to take turns to shower, and Renjun and Jihye went first.

"Come on man I'm freezing here!"

"Keep that shit to yourself!", Renjun glared as his hands gripped into fists. "Like hell I'm letting you inspect on me, pervert"

"Hey! I'm not a pervert, right Jihye?"

"Yo Junnie, ya hear sumn?", Jihye closed her eyes and cupped a hand near her ears, mocking her brother who only looked at him in disbelief.

Chenle sighed. "Jaemin, this wouldn't be happening if only you just didn't pull the two lovebirds into the water"

"B-but they were flirtin-!"

"And you're telling me you weren't?", Jihye said with such a tone that made Jaemin gulp and back away nervously.

She sighed, before finally going up the stairs following Renjun who had long already went up.

Jaemin pouted. "They're mean..."

"Not listening to you", Everyone said simultaneously, making Jaemin feel like a big clown.

Jihye, who was new to Renjun's house didn't know where to go. But she was freezing that she didn't care and just opened the door to a room that felt warm from the outside, thus meaning that the heater was opened in the said room.

Walking in and quickly slamming the door, she exhaled deeply as she slid her back against the door to the floor.

"So warm...", she smiled a little with her eyes closed, eventually opening them for a bit before closing them back.

And then opening it again, to see that she wasn't the only one in the room.

"AhHhHhHhH Renjun! I didn't know you were here ahaha sorry didn't mean to barge in on you I'll head out now bye sorry", Jihye was about the open the door and head on with a face of shame until the boy spoke up.

"It's alright, you can...stay here I guess"

"What??", Jihye looked in surprise.

"I'm gonna head into the bath anyways, so you can stay here and warm yourself up while waiting for your turn", Renjun explained.

"Ah okay...thanks. But I'll just- you know, uhm look the other way", the girl nervously said as she immediately turned around with such speed that she was afraid she might have accidentally break her neck.

She was nervous to the point she didn't feel like breathing, looking at her face in the reflection of her phone's black screen.

'WhatdoIdowhatdoIdowhatdoIdowhatdoI- alright Jihye, just stay calm! Forget and ignore the fact that Renjun is half naked right now and that it's your first time seeing his bare body because he didn't even take off his shirt back at the pool so don't look back don't look back don't-'

Jihye turned her head a little, using her peripheral vision to see the other person in the room as she coughed awkwardly with a bit of blush creeping up her face.

But then a certain mark on his back caught her attention, making her turn right at him and look at what was etched on his back.

Seeing the familiar inked patch, all sorts of feelings suddenly disappeared from Jihye's mind as her eyes were big and she walked nearer towards Renjun.

P.S. because you guys nAsTy my boy Renjun has a good sense of privacy so of course he wouldn't just zip down his pants when a girl is in the same room of him tsk tsk

Renjun who had his back against her wasn't aware of the girl approaching him, and after grabbing his towel he turned around to be met face to face with the girl he secretly liked.

"J-Jihye?", He stuttered, yet got no reply as she just went behind him.

Her hands against his back, Jihye had her eyes squinted as she looked at the inked mark on his back with her eyes big at the realisation.

Meanwhile Renjun was still a clueless fox at the girl's sudden behaviour. "Jihye? What is it?"

"I can't believe it...", She whispered as she quickly rubbed the back of her left hand, resulting in having most of the concealer on that part completely gone to reveal a near identical mark.

"Oh my god, it's actually real! Renjun!", Jihye covered her mouth with her left hand.

Renjun looked back at her through the full-body mirror, curious as to why she was acting this way until he saw the mark on her hand.

"...Is that your soulmate mark?"

"Of course it is!", Jihye exclaimed. "I-I never thought you would be the one"

"Yeah, me neither", Renjun chuckled as he rubbed the back of his nape.

"Wow, out of all people it had to be you who's my soulmate. What a big coincidence"

Renjun, who was surprised at the discovery, also felt a bit relieved knowing that it was her. Turning around to face her, he cleared his throat before speaking the words he always wanted to say.

"Knowing that it's you...I guess I can finally say that I always had a little crush on you", Renjun looked away, shy.

"Oh...I kinda felt the same too, you know?", Jihye smiled.

"That's a good thing then", Renjun took the initiative and placed his hands on Jihye's waist, pulling them closer.

"Can I?", he smiled gently.

Jihye just circled her arms around his neck as she looked into his eyes.

"Yeah"
