"Okay, where are we going again?"

"Jeju Island"

"In the middle of a SEMESTER!?"

"It's the weekend though"

"Yeah but still-"

"You're not one to talk when you sleep for the whole day during weekends, and even on days when classes are cancelled"

"I- okay you got a point there"

Yeonri sighed. Currently they're both on a ferry heading to Jeju Island, where they will be having the next photoshoot for Jaemin's portfolio assignment. As she stared off into the sea leaning against the railing, Jaemin couldn't help but snap a photo.

"Wha- hey! I wasn't even ready", Yeonri complained.

"That's the best thing. You weren't ready, you were natural", Jaemin showed her the photo. "It looks better than any photoshoot could give"

"Okay...", she replied, still in doubt as she slightly pouted.

Jaemin chucked. "True beauty always remain secret, after all"

Hearing the words coming from him, Yeonri suddenly looked at him. "True beau- what?"

Jaemin looked at her confused with what she's saying. "What about it?"

"N-nothing, it's just... I felt like I've heard that before"

"Hmm?"

"Yeah, yeah. It's nothing, really", Yeonri quickly dismissed it, looking back at the sea with her head somewhere else.

True beauty aways remain secret? I swore I heard that in a dream before... but what was it about? I can't remember...

Soon, they arrived at Jeju Island. Together, they walked around and enjoyed the scenery, having fun as tourists.

They continued walking until they arrived at the designated spot for the photoshoot, but Yeonri walked ahead of him and almost ran to it.

When she finally came, she could only let out of a gasp of awe. And also a sense of familiarity, which she dismissed as she continued looking around the flower field.

All she saw was flowers around her. Or to be more exact, tulips.

Bright yellow tulips, as she stood in the middle with her flowing white dress and a straw hat adorned on her head.

Looking up at the clear blue sky, she used her hand as a form of shielding her eyes from the bright sun that shone on her.

Inhaling in the fresh air, she smiled softly in peace until she heard a sound.

The sound of a shutter from a camera.

"Wait...my soulmate..."

Turning around in haste, it felt like time stopped between the two as she looked ahead of her.

Wind blowing, letting her silver hair flow and her white dress flying softly. Even her straw hat ended up flying away to somewhere foreign to her knowledge, but she did not care about it as all she acknowledged was the person in front of her.

Holding a vintage camera, it felt like something out of a romcom as the two shared gazes.

Clutching her hand close to her chest, she exhaled in realization of who the camera on her mark represented. And everything finally felt clear to her, as she parted her lips and widened her eyes after figuring everything out.

But she was still hesitant, what if her hunch was wrong?

"Hey, are you okay?"

Snapping out of her thoughts, she looked up to see the familiar smile on his lips.

"Y-yeah I'm fine", she stuttered.

"You look beautiful", he whispered for only the two to hear.

"Beautiful to the point you had to secretly snap a photo?", she giggled.

"Yes, because true beauty always remain secret"

"True...beauty...", she whispered to herself, before looking up to see him looking through the photos on his camera.

It can't be...

Yeonri looked around in haste, finally remembering her dream the other day. And as expected, everything looked exactly like in her dream. She was even wearing a dress!

"I didn't have a dress before this, so Jaemin got it for me..."

Everything turned in her head, and suddenly it felt like all the air knocked out of her lungs.

Oh my god...

"The dreams, the deja vu, this sudden feeling of...attraction? It was all because..."

Jaemin was my soulmate all along!?

Yeonri looked at Jaemin once again, both surprised and relieved to find out that her soulmate was someone she knew. And also, already had feelings for.

But does he know about it? I wonder...

"Yeonri! Prepare yourself, I'm gonna take some photos now!"

She snapped out of her trance, and ran off to grab her straw hat before going back to the same place she was standing at.

For some reason, after finding out who is her soulmate, Yeonri's heart felt lighter. She couldn't help but smile brightly, bigger than anything she could've put off.

"I'm ready!"

"Alright then. 1...2..."

I'm...so happy! Happy that for once, fate has given me a blessing, Yeonri thought to herself.

"Hmmm...what is she all smiling about? She looks like a child getting her favourite candy", Jaemin said to himself as he continued taking photos.

"Cute", he smiled.

"My soulmate is undeniably cute"
