last chapter:

"karl, there is no way you are scared of an elevator.."

"shut up just hold my hand"

"whatever you baby"

as i held his hand, the elevator shot up, karl flinched at the feeling of going very high. the walls in the elevator showed the history and time line throughout new york. i glanced at karl, who looked as if he was watching shooting stars. i started giggling at him, but i felt the eyes of others in the elevator.

"wanna meet up at the elevator again in like 30 minutes?" i ask

"yeah sure! we can do some of our own exploring all the way from up here."

we split up in our own directions. there were big rooms with gift shops, but mainly big windows looking down at the city. wow this is really high.. this is amazing! just imagine all the dream smp members in new york hah- oh shit. thats actually a good idea!

i look out the windows, when i felt someone hug me from behind, and place a head on my shoulder. as i turn my head a bit, i see karl standing there hugging me.

"you fuckin scared me jesus"

"sorry y/n, but look at this view holy shit"

"yeah, i sometimes come up here to read, since my friend works here like i was talking about earlier"

"the view must be super calming and so pretty. not as pretty as you though"

my eyes widened at what karl said, as i look away which made it even more awkward. after a bit of silence between us, i smile and say:

"thank u karl. i would say the same thing but pretty isnt as common to use that, i just sound dumb at this point"

"haha its perfectly fine y/n. ready to go to lunch?"

"yeah ofc! im starving. wanna go to ellen stardust diner?"

"oh hell yeah!"

we walked to ellen stardust diner. its where you get served food, but the waiters and waitresses sing and perform songs for you. we got a table reserved on our way there, but it started raining for the 3rd time in the past 2 days. we ran to the diner so we wouldnt be soaked.

we ordered our food, as we heard everyone singing and standing on a walkway between booths. people requested songs, ordered their food, and some started dancing in their seats. i filmed a few videos, and tweeted them out.
