Chapter 7

"You bit him!"

After Alex paid Derek a visit, she had made her way home, spending the rest of the night catching up on some more school work. That was until she got a call from a very distressed wolf claiming to have just bit the boy he had already injured.

"Yes I bit him. Can you please come over, I have no idea what to do" he almost cried down the phone

"I'll be there as soon as possible"

Alex ended the call and grabbed her keys.

Now she got to as a possible new beta to her list.

Alex ran into Scott McCall's house for the first time in months. She stopped at she reached the stairs, looking to her right she was met with the living room. Memories flooding back from the last time she stepped foot in his house.

The one thing with grief that Alex never expected was this. The moments when she was stood in a hallway staring at a room thinking about a time when it seemed as if her world had ended, but it was only a fraction of what she had felt hours later.

Shaking her head, she ran up the stairs "Scott!" She called out

She reached the outside of the door and stopped when she seen stiles

Stiles and Isaac stood in scotts room, both trying to work out a solution for Scott's new problem

Stiles glanced at scott when he heard his exes name

"You called Alex?" Stiles asked

Isaac glared At the human "why wouldn't he call her?"

He breathed "I-I don't know.. I just-..." he stammered nervously as the wolf glared at him with crossed arms.

Alex would admit she regretted deeply breaking up with stiles, but she also thought things were getting better with the two. After spending so much time together over the days she thought they could be friends but obviously stiles had other ideas.

Isaac heard the sound of Alex's heart from a distance, he assumed if Scott wasn't so stressed he'd have heard it to.

"Look I know things are awkward between you two, but she is still part of this pack and when something happens we call as many people as possible especially when Alex had a track record of being able to calm down your two mistakes" he told the boy

Stiles nodded quietly. Cursing at the wolf in his head.

Alex walked in  "what happened?"

"Scott bit and kidnapped the freshman. Now he's tied up in the bath" Isaac replied

Alex stood with wide eyes, her mouth slowly gaped open as she stood in shock "I-.." she breathed

She took in a breath and exhaled "what's the plan?" She asked "because I don't feel like going to jail" 

"I have a plan" Stiles perked up

Stiles plan consisted of taking Liam from being taped up in Scott's bath tub, to moving him to Scott's room and taping him to a chair instead.

Alex stood, holding the bridge of her nose, unsure of how to handle the situation in front of her.

Stiles stood in front of Liam "Liam, we're going to take the tape off your mouth. If you scream, it goes right back on. If you talk quietly, it stays off. Got it" he instructed

Liam nodded quickly.

Stiles reached over and ripped the tape off of Liams mouth. Alex winced at the sound that filled the room. Liam awoke with a groan as his skin stung from the aftermath.

"Okay, Liam, now you've seen a lot of confusing things tonight. And more confusing things are going to happen because of the confusing things that happened tonight. Do you understand?" Stiles asked

"I don't think I understood that" Isaac muttered

"Not really." Liam shook his head

"Good. That's good"

"I don't understand either." Scott spoke

"Maybe you should tell him." Stiles suggested

"Tell me what?" Liam asked rather loudly

Alex stood shaking her head slightly, wondering how she had gotten drawn into this situation

"Liam... What happened to you, what I did to you, which I had to do in order to save you, it's going to change you." Scott explained

"Unless it kills you." Stiles added

Liam looked up with wide eyes.

"How is that helping?" Isaac asked

Stiles nodded "Shouldn't have said that."

"You think?" Alex scoffed

Stiles opened his mouth to argue but  A small whimper filled the awkward silence, all eyes darted to the young boy who was tied up "Uh... Uh-oh. Oh-oh. Is he... Is he crying?" He asked

Scott crouched down in front of the scared teenager  "Liam, it's okay. You're going to be all right."

Scott remembered how terrifying it was for him and in hindsight, kidnapping Liam probably wasn't the best option

"You're not going to die."

Stiles crouched down beside the alpha "Probably not." He added once again

"Stop it." Scott hissed

"Okay, possibly not." Stiles nodded

"Oh good god" Alex groaned "you two stand up" she ordered dumb and dumber

They both stood from their crouched positions and took a few steps away from Liam.

Alex walked over and crouched down in front of Liam "all right Liam I know this is probably terrifying, and my friends here didn't exactly take the best steps to help the situation" she talked calmly to him

"it's going to be okay, what happens next might scare you and it will open you up to a whole world that you would have never believed but trust me you won't do it alone" she reassured

She stood back up and looked at the two boys "alright, let the kid go" she insisted

Scott began to un tape liams arms from behind the chair, whilst stiles began to apologize for their actions.

Once free from the restrains, Liam got up and shuffled around. He took the opportunity and grabbed a hold of the chair, he swung it and it was met with Scott's face.

Alex gasped as she watched the chair break to pieces. Scott landing inn the ground with it

Stiles watched with wide eyes "Liam what the hell is-..." before stiles got a chance to get any further in his argument, Liam had punched him and he landed against the wall with a fit of groans

Alex took a step forward but felt her arm being tugged back by Isaac. She looked back at him "let them deal with it" he shrugged "he didn't want you here right?" He asked

"Right" Alex nodded

Liam bolted out of the room and stiles and Scott, after finally getting to their feet ran after him.

After a lot of shrieking and yelling later, Alex and Isaac walked out of Scott's room, looking down the stairs seen stiles and Scott knotted in themselves

"Your plans sucked" Alex pointed out

She and Isaac walked down the stairs and helped the two to their feet.

"You could have helped" stiles huffed

"And do what?" Alex asked "either way he was going to run"

"Yeah except now he's on the run and could tell anyone" Scott pointed out

Alex chuckled "Yeah because anyone will believe that story"

"We will be fine, talk to him at school tomorrow but for now we need to work out what to about the full moon and how we don't have to kidnap him...again"
