how he started it? simple.

he didn't know what a meme was so he had to ask in the group chat which made them all freak out since their simple minded brains couldn't comprehend on what he had said. they knew todoroki was oblivious of most things but not this oblivious.

okay, that was an obvious lie. they knew how oblivious he was and it was honestly- UGH. like- how could he not know what a precious delicate meme was???

he could've just looked it up on the internet but no, he wanted to ask his classmates —friends— what it was. you might be thinking, 'he's smart. why didn't he look it up?' well, he knew that he didn't know since if he didn't know that he didn't know what a meme was then he could maybe, just maybe, get some quality time with y/n since momo and some others had already have some quality time with her.
