The pain is too much.
"Mireille, wait!" Mireille ran to Freya who was seen waiting near the gate of the amusement park.
"Mireille! There you are–o, bakit ka hinihingal?" Mireille panted heavily but her eyes showed that she needed help escaping.
"Ha, what happened? Is that Bryan?" Mireille looked to see Bryan getting closer.
Tch, damn long legs.
"Ate... I don't want to." She asked in a pleading manner. Freya was taken aback pero napabuntong-hininga na lang siya sa huli.
"If that's what you want, I'll try my best. Go na girl, pasok ka na sa sasakyan at sabihin mo kay Manong na mauna ka na at mag-commute na lang ako." Mireille nodded.
"Ingat ka." Sa pagmamadali, mas lalong ginanahan si Mireille na makapasok at maka-uwi sa tinitirhang condo.
She doesn't want to go to her parents' house kasi wala naman ding pakialam yung magulang niya kung saan man siya pupunta.
So she ran with her short legs hanggang sa namanhid ito.
"Mireille, teka–"
"Bryan, let her be."
Mireille sighed in relief.
Thank you, Ate.

"Bakit ba, Ate? I need to talk to her." Bryan tried to move past his sister but she held him back by holding the back of his collar.
"Ack! Ate, bakit mo ginawa 'yun?!" Bryan looked frustrated as hell.
Freya shook her head as a reply.
"What do you mean, no? I need to tell her na I'm–"
Bryan stopped talking when he saw her doing a fake yawn.
"Dude, stop whining. Para kang bata." She left him there. Bryan followed suit, still asking questions.
"Ate naman eh, saan ba pupunta si Ray? I need to talk to her. Do you know din kung bakit niya ako iniiwasan?" Bryan grabbed a handful of his hair.
Nagiging desperado na siya sa mga sagot na gusto niyang malaman.
"Did I do something wrong?"
Freya stopped walking, pero hindi tumingin pabalik sa kapatid.
"Find it out yourself. Drama niyo na 'yang dalawa." Pumara ng jeep si Freya.
"Sasama ka o hindi?"
Bryan shook his head. "Mauna ka na lang, Ate." Freya rolled her eyes. "Sumama ka na, papagalitan lang din ako ng mga oldies."
He wanted to think things through pero he has to rest, after all–
It's been a long day for everyone.
