Chapter 1

Sana:
"No, Mark! We're over!"

Mark:
"Oho. Are we?! Last time you said that but, somehow we ended up in the same bed again!"

Fuck. He's right. I look up. Momo and Mina kept a close eye at the two of us through the window of the cafe. Earlier, I told the two of them not to approach us, at least until I was done talking to Mark.

Sana:
"It won't happen again!"

Mark:
"How do you know for sure?"

Sana:
"B-Because..."

I heard footsteps behind me. I didn't care at the moment but I quickly grabbed the hand of the person who was behind me.

Sana:
"I'm already dating someone else!"
"Now leave me alone!"

Mark looks at the person besides me. I look up as well.

A tall girl with long hair stood before me. She shared a confused look with me before turning back to Mark. Dammit. Now I gotta tell Mark I'm bi now. Why couldn't I have grabbed a guy?!

Mark:
"You're gay now?"

Sana:
"Uh, bi."

Mark:
"You told me you were straight."

Yes, Mark. I am straight. But if I said that right now, that would be stupid of me.

Sana:
"That was a lie, you fool."

Mark:
"Already dating someone else huh?"

Sana:
"Yes!"

Jesus, how many times do I have to tell you we're over?!

Mark turned to the tall girl. Praying that the girl will understand and play along...

Mark:
"Really?"

???:
"Yeah, man. Chou Tzuyu. Nice to meet you."

Chou Tzuyu wrapped her arm around my shoulder. Oh thank god she isn't stupid and got the hint. And I swear I've heard of that name before. Sounds familiar.

Tzuyu:
"She's my girlfriend."
"Got a problem?"

Mark:
"..."

Tzuyu:
"Want proof or what?"

Mark:
"I just...I can't believe it."

Tzuyu:
"Watch this."

Tzuyu grabbed my jaw and kissed my cheek.

If I wasn't trying to act in front of Mark, I would've pushed her back. But, it's an act...and maybe because her lips are soft as hell.

She backed away and stared at Mark.

Tzuyu:
"That enough?"

Mark:
"Uh..."

Tzuyu:
"You want me to kiss her with tongue to prove that we're dating?"

Sana:
"WHAT?!"

Mark:
"What?"

Sana:
"Ah- I mean, no babe. We can NOT do that in public."

I gave her an intense look and she just smiled back.

Mark:
"Don't do that shit in front of me. I believe you, alright?!"

He groaned.

"Fine! Fine..."
"Don't call me back, you hear me?"

Sana:
"Don't worry, I won't."

He turned around and quickly walked away. As soon as he disappeared from sight, Tzuyu let go of me and looked at me. I looked at her back and wow...she's pretty. Too bad I ain't gay-

I was about to thank her but she took out a handkerchief and wiped her lips.

Tzuyu:
"Not exactly what I expected today to be."

She put her handkerchief away and looked at me.

Tzuyu:
"Did he touch you in any way?"

Sana:
"N-No?"

Tzuyu looks at her phone.

Tzuyu:
"Guess we're dating now."

Sana:
"Sorry. I had to save myself. He's uh...kind of a jerk. But jesus...you went a bit too far."

Tzuyu:
"Huh? You don't want to make out with someone like me?"

Sana:
"No! I'm straight."

Tzuyu:
"Uh-huh...s-"

Sana:
"And do not say "So is spaghetti until it gets wet", you do not know how many times I've heard of that stupid joke."

Tzuyu:
"I wasn't. What I was going to say was..."
"Seems to me you two are having an on and off relationship."

Sana:
"Oh. My bad."
"But no. We're over."

Tzuyu:
"Oh? Really?"

She let out a disappointed sigh.

"Shame..."

Sana:
"Huh?"

She leaned in to whisper in my ear. I could feel her breath as she spoke.

Tzuyu:
"We could've slept together to make him jealous~"

Sana:
"H-Hah?!"

I stumbled back, almost tripping over myself. Actually, I did. I tripped and fell on my ass. The jacket Momo bought me might've ripped from the fall.

Sana:
"W-What the fuck are you on about?!"

Tzuyu:
"Sleep on the same bed, girlie. Nothing dirty about that. What are you even thinking about?"

Sana:
"A-Ah...sleep?"

Tzuyu:
"No duh. I didn't say anything other than sleep."

Sana:
"...What?"

Tzuyu:
"Sleep...maybe with a bottle of tequila."

Sana:
"What the hell is wrong with you?"

Tzuyu chuckled.

Tzuyu:
"Anyway, I got to run."

And with that, she turned and walked away.

Sana:
"...What in the hell? Who the fuck was she?"

P: Mina

Mina:
"Damn..."

Momo:
"Damn indeed."

Mina:
"We come visit my girlfriend's cafe, and we meet the asshole here."

I sighed. It was the weekend and we wanted a quick getaway. I just released my single last week and there was nothing but promotions. The three of us wanted a break and I suggested this cafe.

Momo:
"Don't blame yourself. Where's Chae anyway?"

Mina:
"She's in the back."

Momo:
"She hits you from the back eh?"

Mina:
"What? No! Not like that, you dumbass."

Momo chuckled.

Momo:
"It's called a joke. I don't doubt she actually hits you from the back, but she's been in there for a while."

Mina:
"Yeah..."

Momo:
"But did you see the girl that was with Sana?"

I looked at her. Confused. But then I realized--the girl that was with Sana looked like someone I knew.

Momo:
"Chou Tzuyu, I believe."

Mina:
"Chou Tzuyu..."
"Isn't she the girl that was involved in the scandal with ?"

Momo:
"Yeah. I'm surprised she's even in South Korea at the moment."

I turned to Sana, realizing she moved away from the spot she had just been in. Instead, we hear the door open and Sana walked in.
