Chapter 4

P: Chae

I stand up and stretch. I've been in the studio for hours.

Knock knock.

I turn around, expecting to see the ballerina. Instead, I see the puppy lover.

I let out a disappointed sigh.

Tzuyu:
"Not happy to see me?"

Chae:
"Aha, well it's just..."
"I was expecting someone else."

Tzuyu:
"Myoui Mina. Of course."
"You should introduce me to her sometimes."

Chae:
"She's too busy."

Tzuyu:
"She's busy and you expect her to visit you?"

I chuckled.

Chae:
"Girlfriends do that. My girlfriend does that."

Tzuyu:
"Shame I'm straight."

Chae:
"If you weren't, I'd be worried you'll take Mina away."

Tzuyu:
"She's pretty as all I got to say about her."
"Anyway, I was thinking about grabbing breakfast with Dahyun."
"You wanna come?"

Chae:
"Yeah."
"Just let me grab my-"

Tzuyu:
"Phone?"

I had started looking for my phone but looked up to see Tzuyu with my phone in her hand.

Tzuyu:
"Come on. I'll drive and we'll meet up Dahyun at the restaurant."

She walked out and I quickly chased after her.

Chae:
"Wait! Are you a magician now?"

Dahyun:
"..."

I take a sip out of my water. Beautiful, refreshing water.

"Sorry we're a little late."

I look up and see Tzuyu and Chae walked towards the table.

Dahyun:
"No, it's fine."

They sit down.

Chae:
"How have you been?"

Dahyun:
"I still gotta host this afternoon."
"Your girlfriend is going to be a part of the show I'm hosting this Wednesday."

Chae:
"Nice. This is going to be your first time seeing her."

I nodded and turned to Tzuyu, who was looking at her phone.

Dahyun:
"There should be no phones when we're eating."

Tzuyu:
"We're not eating yet. And besides...this girl won't stop texting me."
