Izzy finished introducing herself to the whole class, she was just waiting for the homeroom teacher to tell where she would sit.
"Is the seat next to Mr. Nishimura available?" Tanong ng adviser namin.
"No, Ma'am. This is Taki's seat.." I answered.
"Hoy, anong ako? Dito ako nakaupo.." Taki whispered. I stared at him. Nasa likuran ko kasi siya nakaupo.
"Dito ka," I whispered back.
"Pero dito ako nakaupo.." Bulong niya ulit.
"Dito ka sabi." Wala siyang nagawa kundi ang sumunod.
"Okay. Izzy, just sit on where Mr. Taki's sitting earlier." Sumunod si Izzy. I tried my best not to look at her.
"Hi! I'm Taki, Niki's friend!" Pakilala ni Taki kay Izzy.
"Hello, nice to meet you, Taki. I'm Izzy."
"Hello, Izzy! I'm Eiko." Rinig ko mula sa likod. "Ganda mo, hehe."
"Ah, talaga? Salamat." After that, hindi na sila nag-usap. The class started and as usual, ako ulit ang nakakuha ng malaking score sa last activity namin.
"Okay, you need to find a partner for our next activity tomorrow. Goodbye, class."

"Okay, Ma'am." After sumagot ni Izzy, tuluyan nang lumabas ang teacher namin.
Naramdaman ko na may kumalabit sa akin.
"Niki.. may partner kana ba?" I looked at Taki who was sitting beside me, nagpipigil nanaman siya ng tawa.
"Si Taki partner ko," I answered while fixing things on my table.
"Ah, ganoon ba?" She seems disappointed base sa voice niya. I bet nakasimangot siya ngayon.
"Ako nalang partner mo, Izzy! Hindi naman nakikipartner si Niki sa mga babae." Epal talaga kahit kailan si Eiko ampota.
"Okay, tayo nalang." Kaagad siyang pumayag? Di manlang ako pinilit?
"Pabebe ka kasi, bro." Bulong nanaman ni Taki.
"Shut up."
