The reader's boyfriend is an abusive drunk, and it will be talked about throughout the story. The reader is physically assaulted and there are graphic descriptions of the bruises, bites, etc.
Also, the reader will have trouble expressing her emotions and will often disassociate or feel numb when bad things happen. The reader often thinks very negatively of herself and has low self-esteem. She doesn't handle things that happen to her in a healthy way.
Please don't think that I am encouraging, promoting, or attempting to glamorize these issues.
There are going to be intense sexual situations, including but not limited to: suspension, wax play, and a threesome.
