backstory: so she got adopted by Seiji, he actually cared about her but then Yui got mad and started thinking that Rika was trying to take her father away from her so she started causing problems and blaming them on Rika, and as time went by Seiji stopped caring for her and pretended she didn't exist and so did the nuns at church they didn't like her from the beginning, think she was cursed because of her eyes so they would let her starve, till she gets the news she was going to move somewhere with her sister Yui.
